About weapons: this is why I'm in favor of the Stiletto, its +4 heal counter enemy's weapon. The most common is Lobo in Mono Aether which gives the AI only +1 against you during Sundials time.
About aggro decks: I agree they are far more dangerous than anything else, it's often a matter of who had the better draw.
About bronze decks: by far the most common Bronze deck I encountered is Mono Aether, and this deck has a fair chance to win (you ignore their shield, they can't steal/destroy anything from you, you can send scorpions out at the end and if AI has lightning is gonna use it and take another extra damage from neurotoxin). Mono Aether is an hard fight for any unupped deck I know and this deck gives you a good chance to beat it and have a solid tactic versus other decks. Obviously it's not perfect and A LOT OF upped decks are better than this one, still if you just started this gives you a decent chance to win in Arena some shards (I got 3 shards, 2 miracles and 3 weapons in 2 days, and I even failed two specials spins).
About pvp: it's not designed for pvp, it's designed for exploiting the fact AI doesn't stop playing cards. Still I managed to win even in pvp2 with it, but it's not a good deck for pvp, I generally use something else for that.
I'm posting a pic of an end of game situation I faced (the most fortunate one, AI couldn't kill all my scorpions and I managed to increase a lot the neurotoxin damage thanks to AI playing all kind of crap) just to give an idea of what could happen in some circumstances. I don't think many cheap decks could have won a match like this one:
