I won two games where I didn't have SoFo on the starting hand, I just kept the bolts for the creatures, Phoenixes are pretty much unbeatable and make the AI waste CC on them so that you can play the SoFo later.
@furballdn: imho novas are never too much
. I wish I had nymphs lol. For Angels I think I should change too much (incidentally that's where I started for this idea, a deck with the combo Immolation->Photon->Angel->Rage Potion), I prefer to keep it simple like this. I found phoenixes (a truly good card) a nice choice for a creature in this deck and I think I'm gonna stick with it.
@Absol: I considered it when I made the deck originally, but it didn't help very much in getting an EM so I dropped the idea, since enemy rarely have much quanta to suck at the end of the game. I mostly used Bolts to speed up things at that time, now that I added the Phoenixes I think I can consider it again. I'll see what it happens.
