I'll be keeping an eye on this- looks pretty fun. I haven't got the money to buy it yet, having just sold every surplus card I have to make Drag-ords, but when I've built up some electrum I'll be working towards this.
Can I siggest a name change though? Because Liquid Matter... is just Liquid. It's like saying Liquid Water or Gas Air
As you wish. Are you fine with the namechange to "Headbutt a cactus" ? Thats pretty much what it does
I´ve just beat Eternal Phoenix with it. Was the 2nd game against him. First game i´ve lost because if you Aflatoxin a Phoenix he won´t get a Cell. The trick is to use Liquid Shadow on the Phoenix after you play Aflatoxin on the same turn. After that i got lucky and he played a Dragon i could Antimatter. He played another one i had to Basilisk Blood (used that one for the kill later) and stopped most of his Fractal´d Phoenix with Basilisk or Antimatter. After i draw Jade Shield and Adrenaline (for one Phoenix) i knew i had won.
But don´t get overexited. The deck itself is really nice when it works out and usually wins with EM, but due to the decksize and current lack of carddraw it is highly unstable. I could really need some help with the tweaking. The Rage Potion and Purify aren´t really needed, but somehow i keep loosing when i remove them for some weird reason. (Rage potion is usually used as fast spot removal if needed or to "pump" a basilisk blooded unit so it does more damage to its master after the Liquid Shadow / Antimatter Combo).
The main focus should be the early Aflatoxin.I´ve noticed most games go down the drain once there are too many non-cell creatures out.Especially pump creatures can be problematic since they eventually outgrowth your antimattered lifesavers.
The Adrenaline is really REALLY usefull in combination with low Antimattered low attack creatures. It has saved me a lot of times so far.
I kinda like the Basilisk Blood.Very often times it serves as a disable for several turns on problematic creatures (Fallen Druid!) or too "big" creatures and buys you enough time to draw into an answer.I´ve played versions without them and i really missed them every single game.
There should also be a 3rd Jade Shield in there to increase the chance of drawing one.Afla without a Jade Shield in your hand/out might backfire and kill you.
Antimatter is just nuts. I´m currently running 5 (!) of them and they completly take care of the healing department.I ran SoGs along with them earlier but those aren´t really needed and just slow down your Quanta development.Just make sure you AM their biggest critter.
Usually growth creatures are bad Antimatter targets, but not for this deck.In some games against graviton i let one of his firewalkers grow up to 20 attack,Basilisk Blood them and Liquid Shadow/Antimatter afterwards - the Liquid Shadow removes any previous skills on the creature, so you don´t have to worry about ablaze etc anymore.
Just play it smart.Let the opponent pump his creature up and if you can afford it wait a bit longer so the creature gets more buffs - this only leads into getting healed more later and the creature dealing more damage to their owner.Try to get a feeling how much you can "handle" without dying. Best tip i could give you is to not save the Basilisk Blood too long - it is meant to buy you time for a better solution at a very small cost - even if that just means to Antimatter a bigger creature it still did its job "getting you there".
