I don't think your EM deck is too good. Adrenaline'd vamps, or decks like yours just that without cockatrices and with Adrenaline will most likely work way better.
I'm by no means an expert of level 3 EM grinding because I always use full-damage rush decks myself, but I'm willing to bet that what I used is much better than Adrenaline'd Vampires. Have you actually tried that deck? It sucks.

Without any buffs, those 2/2 Vampires are pretty much useless and will get owned by any creature control out there. Opponent plays an unupped Otyugh? Gratz, you just lost the game.

Problem with decks like that is that you basically need two cards to make one creature which makes them even more vulnerable to creature control, and also makes it more luck dependent.

Im enjoying using Essences AI3 EM Darkness deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11412.0.html). Even unupped (how Im using it until I can upgrade everything) it works really well.
I haven't used that same exact deck, but to me it looks very slow. The unupped version I mean. Also without any instant healing or not much defense, I don't think it will get that many EM's. Having a second shield might help with that.

I think the main advantage of the deck I used compared to these suggested here, is that my deck has Heals which you can use to give yourself full HP before you finish the opponent. Without instant heals like that, you will have less EM's because if your opponent has low HP, he will die before you get full HP.

The deck I used in phase 5 is probably the King of unupped Elemental Masteries but I will reveal it later. :)

From my testing I find EM decks are not worth it until fully upped, but here's hoping you prove me wrong. :)

SG, instead of looking how much time it takes, I think you should look at how many games it takes. You need about 11000 electrum in order to make your almost non-upped rainbow and have about 300 gold left to start grinding FG's. That took me 330 games. I'm not sure how long that would take since I often did other things while I was grinding. If we go off your first round, you played 35 games in an hour. You also had to build your deck and everything that entails, so we can probably estimate 40 games per hour. Over 8 hours that's 320 games, so I think if all you did was grind AI3 with your rainbow deck, you might be able to create your FG deck in eight hours. That's definitely not "rich," but it at least gets you to about the end of the boring AI3 grinding phase. So unless you can do better than my estimates, perhaps a better title would be "how to build a successful FG rainbow in 8 hours." You might even add in an extra hour to give an example of how your deck performs against the FG's, showing the players a little bit of what they can expect. I think I beat about five FG's in the first hour and won three upped cards. Perhaps my sense of time is off though :-p

It's not as amazing as you guys probably think. :) It's very basic but does give you a lot of EM's.

The whole point with this 8 hours thing was that it's the length of a working day in many countries, so I wanted to see how much cash you get when you skip work and play Elements instead. :)

But like I've said before, this project is not only about getting rich fast. If it were that, I would have used the starter rainbow for the first 6 hours. This is more like a tutorial that shows you multiple different options and decks.
