I would suggest to limit the number of upgraded cards in PvP games -or to divide PvP in games with and games without upgraded cards.
Playing upgraded decks against unupgraded decks is unfair, so I play only unupgraded decks in normal game and  upgraded decks only in the trainer.
If people fight against the computer, it doesn´t really matter, if they use upgraded cards.
They dont get game advantage (except experience)  in PvP then, if they have played/grind longer times.

Late Edit:
I´m glad to see, that the idea to divide PvP into PvP1 and PvP 2 has been implemented later - but probably not because of this post.

If the game was annoying or slow to play (against the AI), upgrades would be just too much hassle. Yes, it can take a while to upgrade a whole deck, but then again, who says that you have to use upgraded cards in PvP? I actually enjoy the unupped PvP format because it doesn't exclude new players from competing. I have talked about this a few times, but I believe that incentives for PvP would be a great way to encourage players to venture out of the AI grinding. If the League gets going, there could be some kind of reward for tournaments or PvP points that could serve as an alternative to False God grinding.

No... Just no, upgrades are staying. Just because you're too lazy to grind for cards, doesn't mean the players who worked hard for upgrades have to sacrifice their work.

It is not at all too hard to get a fully upgraded deck.
In about two months casual playing, it is possible, for a newbie.

Upgrades exist so that there's a reason to play the game once you've gotten your basic decks down.  Otherwise it'd be a game you play for a month and forget about 'cause you've done or can do it all.

I think that if people want to see a decrease in Rainbow decks, someone should design a mono-/duo-/tri-element deck that is specifically made to take down those pesky Rainbows. Then, those that play rainbow decks competetively would be force to design a counter for the rainbow-counter, and then more and more deck ideas would eventually evolve from the constant evolution of strategies to beat the previous "best."

Yeah I made a new account and I quickly made a gravity earth denial deck and it was having a godly win rate.

Wow a lot of guests. Anywho, the point of upgrades is to make it easier to beat all the AI. Plus, you were talking about how chaos seed and freeze were cheap shots, just use adrenaline. A three turn freeze, isn't that bad anyway. Chaos seed will just have to be accepted, what can you do about it?
