Character profiles:
Bloodshadow: Jonathan Solaris
Forum Name: Bloodshadow
Color: #FFFF80
Character Name: Jonathan Solaris; his real name is Sol Invictus but he doesn't usually reveal it to strangers.
Element: Light
Gender: Male
Race: Greater Deity in his own world. Outside his world, his powers are severely reduced, and his physical body becomes that of an Angel.
Age: He doesn't really know, since he is the Sun God and has been around probably since his world began.
Appearance: For the most parts, Jonathan resembles a normal human, though he exudes an aura that makes him seem more than a simple human.
Hair: Golden, medium-length, spiky. Refer to the Bleach character Ichigo Kurosaki for the hairstyle.
Eyes: Golden, warm, bright, piercing.
Face: Very handsome but perfectly human-looking.
Skin: Halfway between Caucasian and Chinese.
Height: 180 cm
Weight: Not really relevant, since he can change it at will.
Build: Lean, athletic but not overly muscular. Stronger than he looks.
Markings: Jonathan has tattoos on his body that are only visible when he enters one of his advanced forms (explained below). The only tattoo that is visible on his human form is a stylized Sun sigil on his left palm, which he uses to summon his sword, the Excalibur.
Clothing: When traveling in the mortal realm, Jonathan is usually clad in a simple long white cloak. Under the cloak, he wears lightweight armor made of a pure white metal, with golden runes and sigils engraved on it. Jonathan can change his clothes at will, e.g. morph them into traveling tunic and breeches, noble's robes, etc, but the colors will most likely always be white decorated with gold.
Misc: Jonathan has a pair of wings on his back, but they're not revealed unless he enters one of his advanced forms (explained below).
Personality: Virtues: Jonathan cares very deeply about his family, friends, and loved ones. He will do anything, including risking his own life, to protect the ones he cares about. Jonathan is very honorable, always helping those who helped him before. He is also very polite, never offending anyone when he doesn't need to.
Vices: Jonathan doesn't really have any flaws, but if one must be listed, then it is his pride. He usually doesn't let it show, but deep down he is rather proud of his own abilities, and thinks highly of himself.
Morality: Jonathan is somewhat of a pacifist, and generally he will prefer to use words rather than violence to solve the problem. He only fights and kills when it's absolutely necessary, and after killing someone or something he will always pray for the salvation of his victim's soul.
Intellect: Jonathan has genius-level intelligence; it is not really surprising, since he is the Sun God and all. He is somewhat annoyed by mindless brutes, but only because he has to use violence to deal with those low-intelligence creatures.
Temperament: Sanguine/Choleric. (
http://www.fighunter.com/?page=temperaments) Jonathan is extremely charismatic. He is kind, easygoing, and sociable; his casual, laid-back attitude and clever, witty remarks allows him to make friends very quickly and easily. Jonathan is slightly dominant; he will not hesitate to correct other people if he believe that person to be incorrect.
Beliefs: Well... Jonathan is a god, and he knows that other gods exist in his world. And he knows about the existence of other worlds.
Orientation: Straight, although this isn't really relevant, since Jonathan's only love interest is Luna Selene, the Moon Goddess. The two of them has been together ever since they existed, and Jonathan is literally incapable of thinking about another female in a romantic way.
Affiliations: The Galaxian Pantheon, since he is the leader of his group of Star Gods.
Abilities: Photokinesis: Jonathan has control over Light. He can use it to blind enemies, dispel evil, heal himself and others, focus it into destructive beams, etc. He usually shapes light into swords of varying sizes and shapes. See picture:
http://lunaticsupernova.deviantart.com/art/Sword-Summoner-36072723 Arcane Mastery: Jonathan is a master of various forms of magic, especially those aligned with Light.
Combat Mastery: Jonathan is a master of both unarmed martial arts and armed weapon combat. He is especially deadly with a sword.
Paladin: Jonathan uses a fighting style that incorporates both melee sword combat and Light magic.
Telepathy: Jonathan has powerful mental abilities. He can speak to others using his mind, sense magical energies, and protect his own thoughts from any other being that might try to meddle with his mind. Jonathan is capable of using his mind to attack, but he prefers Light magic.
Excalibur: This holy sword of Light is made from a piece of Jonathan's soul, so only he is capable of wielding it. The appearance and power of the Excalibur changes as Jonathan enters his advanced forms (explained below). In human form, this sword can be summoned through the Sun-shaped tattoo on Jonathan's left palm.
Advanced Forms: Upon entering another world, Jonathan's body is reduced to that of a mortal. Jonathan can use his powers to change his own form, bringing himself closer to his original self as a Deity; however, the more power he uses, the more tired he will be afterwards.
1. Human form: In human form, Jonathan is only slightly stronger, heals faster, and has more stamina than a normal human. He can only use the basic form of the Excalibur: a longsword, about 5 centimeters wide made from white and silver metal, with gold runes and sigils of Light on it. In this form it is nothing but a sharper-than-normal sword, but it can channel and amplify Light magic to some extent.
2. Angelic form: In this form, Jonathan has a pair of white angel wings, and a glowing white aura. His strength, speed, stamina, perception, magic, etc, are all increased. He can use the Excalibur in Judgment form, a wide broadsword version of the Excalibur about 10 cm wide; the speed is decreased while power increased. It can create waves and blasts of golden Light energy when swung, and it greatly amplifies any Light magic channeled into it.
3. Demigod form: In this form, Jonathan utilizes his powers as Sol Invictus. His wings become draconian, golden, and more energy-like, and his aura turns golden; he gains a golden, sun-like tattoo on his forehead. His powers are explosively increased in this form, but if used for too long this form will cause heavy fatigue and incapacitation. He can use the Excalibur in Execution form, a massive sword more than 20 cm wide. In this form, the Excalibur can create massive energy blasts by itself, and cut through almost anything. This form will only be used when Jonathan is in grave danger.
4. Divine form: This is as close to his original god form as Jonathan can get. His wings become pure energy, his hair becomes flame-like, and he dons a set of golden armor made of Light; his entire body is covered with glowing golden tattoos. Jonathan can only use this form if he has been defeat in demigod form and brought to the verge of death; this form can only be maintained for a short while. In this form the massive sword of Execution will crack, revealing a blinding golden light coming from inside. Then Execution shatters, revealing a sword made of a pure golden metal, called the Solstice. This sword is golden instead of white, but it resembles Excalibur's basic form; its power is truly godlike. The shattered remains of Execution can merge and form a white sun-shaped buckler called the Equinox, capable of creating powerful protective barriers of Light.
5. True form. This form CANNOT be used anywhere except in Jonathan's own home world, because it is overpowered by my standard. In his true form Sol Invictus is a colossal golden dragon made of pure Light and energy, with a pair of massive wings; the sword Excalibur is merged with the dragon's tail. As the leader of the Galaxian Pantheon and the most powerful Star God, I don't think I need to explain the power, or overpoweredness, of this form.
-1. Demonic form: As Sol Invictus, Jonathan has a powerful inner demon inside himself named Eclipsis, whose element is Darkness. Eclipsis is cruel and sadistic, the polar opposite of Jonathan himself; he will take over Jonathan's body during a solar eclipse. Eclipsis's color scheme is black and purple, including his sclera; the Excalibur will be changed into a sword of Darkness in Eclipsis's hands.
World Description: Jonathan's home world is composed of twin worlds Galactea and Pangaea.
Pangaea is a single supercontinent surrounded by a giant ocean named Oceanus. This world has toroid topology, meaning that if you leave from the right side of the supercontinent and go infinitely toward the right, eventually you'll return to the left side of the supercontinent. If you go up into the sky high enough, you'll enter Galactea; if you dig into the ground deep enough, you'll enter Tartarus, which is also a part of Galactea. In other words, this world wraps around itself no matter which direction you go. Pangaea is inhabited by several intelligent races including Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Werebeasts, Reptoids, Insectoids, and Mermen. The levels of development among those civilizations vary; most human settlements are around medieval level, but their everyday lives are heavily influenced by magic, similar to how real life is influenced by technology. Most intelligent races worship the Star Gods of the Galaxian Pantheon, who reside in Galactea. After death, three things may happen to a mortal being: if it was good in life, then it will be sent to Elysium, transformed into an Angel, and live among the Gods; if it was neutral in life, then it will be reincarnated; if it was evil in life, then it will be sent to Tartarus, be cleansed of its crimes, and reincarnated.
Galactea is the divine realm of the Star Gods. It is composed of several parts: the Astral Sea, where the Star Palaces of the Galaxian Pantheon are located; Elysium, inhabited by Angels, purified and exalted mortals who has done enough good deeds to live among the Gods; Atlantis, the bottom of the great sea Oceanus; and Tartarus, the underworld where the souls of criminals are punished. Galactea is inhabited by the Deities called Star Gods, powerful entities that were born when this world began. The Star Gods are collectively referred to as the Galaxian Pantheon, and to the mortals they appear as bright stars in the sky. Their members are as following:
Sol: The Sun God of Light. Leader of the Galaxian Pantheon, and the male essence of the world.
Luna: The Moon Goddess of Light. Lover of Sol Invictus, and the female essence of the world.
Mercury: The Elemental God of Water. One of the four elements required to keep Pangaea alive.
Venus: The Elemental Goddess of Air. One of the four elements required to keep Pangaea alive.
Terra: The Elemental Goddess of Earth. One of the four elements required to keep Pangaea alive.
Mars: The Elemental God of Fire. One of the four elements required to keep Pangaea alive.
Jupiter: The Elemental God of Thunder. The de facto second-in-command of the Pantheon when both Sol and Luna are away.
Saturn: The Gatekeeper. He is in charge of the portals from this world to other worlds.
Uranus: The Guardian of Sky. He is the guardian of the Astral Sea and Elysium.
Neptune: The Guardian of Ocean. He is the guardian of Oceanus and Atlantis.
Pluto: The Guardian of Death. He is the guardian of Tartarus, and the death god who judges the souls of mortals.
Every mortal being has an evil side within its heart; likewise, every Deity has an inner demon within itself. Those demons seek to either destroy or dominate the world, which is the reason why they're suppressed by their respective Deities.
Background:Jonathan is Sol Invictus, the Sun God of Light. Because he is the most kind and noble of all Deities, his inner demon Eclipsis is the most twisted and evil. Uranus, the God of Elysium, was the purest of all Deities, and has no inner demon; he suggested a forbidden magic ritual that would purge Sol of his inner demon. The forbidden ritual was risky, and an accident occurred; Eclipsis was released from Sol's heart. Eclipsis threatened to take over the world, and Sol attempted to stop his inner demon; the two had a cataclysmic final battle, which ended in Sol sacrificing his own life to seal Eclipsis back into himself. Sol reincarnated into the body of Jonathan, a Human-Angel hybrid.
At his eighteenth birthday, Jonathan, among other young Angels, was taken to the Temple of Solaris, to see if any of them could pull out the sacred blade Excalibur, and take on the mantle of Sol Invictus. Naturally, Jonathan was able to pull out his own sword, and at that moment his previous life as a god flashed before his eyes. At that same moment, the Sun turned black, and Eclipsis awakened inside Jonathan; he massacred the Angels, and destroyed the Temple of Solaris. Jonathan was able to suppress his inner demon, but because of his massacre he was banished from Galactea into the mortal world. He then wandered around the world, seeking a way to control his inner demon and regain his Godhood.
Some times later, Jonathan met a girl named Jennifer Lunaria, who was the princess of Asteria, the largest Human kingdom on Pangaea. Jennifer turned out to be the reincarnation of Luna Selene, the Moon Goddess, who could not bear the death of her lover Sol, and followed him to the mortal world. With Jennifer's help, Jonathan was able to successfully suppress his inner demon.
Shortly after that, the twin worlds Galactea and Pangaea were invaded by a race of interdimensional parasite/scavenger creatures called the Imps (yes, I'm talking about YOUR Imps, Gl1tch). With the help of several allies from other worlds, Jonathan was able to defeat the Imps. Jonathan's mortal body perished when he fought the Emperor Imp, which caused his soul to be revived into Sol Invictus. After regaining his Godhood and defeating the Emperor, Sol saved his world from the Imp invasion.
After the Imp invasion, the twin worlds Galactea and Pangaea enjoyed a brief period of peace. However, a new threat has emerged. Annihilus, the Devourer of Worlds, was released from his eternal prison, and it sent a shock through the entire Multiverse. Annihilus must be stopped, or he will devour not only one world, but all worlds in existence...
$$$man: Zeni
Forum Name: $$$man
Color: Beige
Character Name: Zeni
Element: Entropy+Aether and anything he copies with duality.
Gender: Male
Race: Chaomancer (Chaos Sorcerer)
Age: 24
Appearance: Zeni can mutate himself using the mutations spell to change forms but in his base form he is a human.
Zeni’s Eyes are dark purple, His hair is Completely Black and his Skin color is peach.
Zeni always looks like he is in a bad mood although anyone who knows him knows that he is a very nice person.
Zeni can alternate his height but in basic form is 6’ 8. He weighs a measly 132 pounds. And he has a very lean build.
Zeni can change form but in his basic form has 4 scars across his rib area.
Constantly changing attire according to his mood.
Personality: He is a VERY friendly person and can make bonds with even the darkest personalities. He uses this and his mutating appearance to his advantage and infiltrates enemies. His only dislike is stubbornness and arrogance. He is straight.
Abilities:
Chaos Seed- Zeni’s target is inflicted with a random negative effect. This move can be used in quick succession to create a move known as “Pandemonium” which is much more powerful.
Dissipation- Any attacks at Zeni will heal him instead. This can be cast on multiple people at once.
Mutation- Zeni mutates target creature. It dies, turns into something weird, or becomes an abomination. This ability can be controlled to change a creature’s appearance. Character stays at same power level.
Atomic Control- Zeni can control atoms on a sum-microscopic level allowing him to Manipulate him and others atoms. (For example turning his hand into a steel sword, or turning an opponent’s hand into a pile of crap.) This ability takes very little out of Zeni.
Mind-Control- Years of studying with the Demons granted Zeni immense knowledge. He can use this knowledge to essentially mind control a well minded enemy. the stronger the mind of the enemy the more difficult to enter and control.
Teleportation- Zeni can teleport and by doing so pop out of a portal, if this leaves the enemy in a vulnerable position Zeni attempts to attack them with his long sword.
Duality- By tapping into his aether powers, Zeni can copy one of his opponent’s moves, and use it for himself. This move hardly drains Zeni, but the move that he copies can drain him depending on the power of it. Zeni can choose what move(s) he copies.
Background and World Description: Zeni was born to a genius named Max and his wife Cynthia. Max had originally created the Poisonous Garbs and had granted them the intelligence to find and Aflatoxin and they considered evil. Zeni learned of all his chaotic powers from Max. Max and Cynthia died at a strategy meeting; they were meeting with the Nuetrals(Demons in the world of Posgn) to discuss an attack to the Torturer of death, Xerolance, who was threatening them. The elves betrayed the Chaomancers (Chaos Wizards) and mutated them until they died. Zeni being an established Chaomancer already had opened a portal to watch the outcome, when the betrayal began Zeni went through the portal to teleport there. He managed to save Max but only after a fatal chaos seed had been cast, Max’s last words to Zeni were “You are a master you are the king of entropy; I imbue you with my Entropic powers. Go and avenge us by vanquishing the evil that caused these elves to attack us.” With that Zeni left and began wandering until he came upon a pact of Poisonous Garbs. He joined with them. *This is when the story starts in Zeni’s eyes.
World Story:
Zeni’s world:
Language: Chaolo- The use of random terms to create sounds that represent what you are trying to say
Appearance: Chaotic- Random things in random place. Lakes in the desert and mountains in space are just a few such landmarks.
Races: Random- Random races that appear from nowhere teleported into Posgn. Also Poisonous Garbs the most dominant Entropic Race that keeps everything in the land in check.
Back-story: When Posgn (the world) was first created, the ruler was none other than Thoro, Zeni's great grnadfather.. Eventually upon conquering all the other lands, he Forgot about Posgn leaving it be.
ddevans96: Fasteri
Forum Name: ddevans96
Color: #48B0B0
Character Name: Fasteri
Element: Aether
Gender: None (cyborgs don't have genders)
Race: Realistic Etherosian Cyborg
Age: 17
Appearance: Fasteri has shining teal eyes with small pupils and black hair. His hair has bangs that cover his ears and most of his eyes, and his skin in pale blue, that looks darker in pure light. There is a small creation mark on his broad forehead that looks like a constellation, and part of it stretches to his left cheek. He stands at 5 feet 7 inches, and is 104 pounds, with very lean muscles and long arms. His legs are fairly long as well, and he has a scar running down his left thigh. He has some darker specks on his hairline that are covered by his hair, and more darker specks on his wrists. A large, deep blue wristband covers the specks on his right wrist, and his shirt is the same shade of blue, with long sleeves, a tight collar, and a pocket on the left side. The shirt is made of cotton, as are his pants, which are very long and black, and look like dress pants. They have three large pockets and are insulated with a very thin layer of rubber. His socks are white and cover his entire calf, and his shoes are high-tops with various shades of blue, and a thick black stripe running down each side.
Personality: Fasteri is very calm, and only gets offended if someone offends something he really cares about. He is also very clever, and always thinks before he speaks. However, he has little patience, and looks down on people he finds unintelligent. He usually treats all people fairly equally, unless he becomes offended, when he turns moody and uncaring. He likes nature and studying books, while the one thing he despises is fighting, even though he knows how to fight. He loves hang out with his friends, who help calm him down if he gets angered. He believes that Science and Magic worked together to control and balance the world he lives on.
Abilities: Fasteri has several special abilities for different situations. The constellation mark on his forehead gives him the power to control the stars. It is very powerful, and allows him to do certain things that a mortal couldn't, but it makes him incredibly weak for a whole three days once he uses it, and he doesn't know of this ability yet. He also has the power of Lobotomy, which allows him to temporarily disarm and confuse an enemy. Another thing he can do is see what his enemy is thinking, but the enemy can feel this, and can stop it by closing his mind. The last power he has is the ability to conjure a liquid that serves as an antidote to most poisons.
Background and World Description: Etheros is a small world of dimensions and psychic powers, surrounded by celestial bodies of all sorts. The inhabitants are all either Sironians, the original inhabitants of the planet, or the cyborgs they made to look like them and make the planet thrive. The buildings are all built out of materials found deep in the soil of the planet, including chrome, steel, and Spasios, which is a glossy blue plastic that is malleable and very strong. The cyborgs were placed in charge of creating artificial plants, structures, and more cyborgs out of Spasios. The Sironians were then able to relax while the cyborgs did all the work.
One day, centuries after that, a teenage Cyborg called Lorianet started a rebellion, claiming that the Sironians were lazy and simple minded. He gathered a hoard of followers from both sides, and created a independent country called Coranos. The Etherosian government declared war on Coranos, and both sides started furiously creating more cyborgs to fight for them. The Ethreosians were about three times as large to begin with, but because they had not done any work for hundreds of years, they couldn't produce cyborgs as fast anymore, and the Coranosian army grew to the same size within a few months.
The two sides met in a gigantic clearing called Tionamar, and they fought. For thousands of years they fought each other. In the end, however, there was only 100 cyborgs left on each side. One member of each was sent to the other, and together, they made a single cyborg. The groups agreed to make peace, and the nation of Gorias was created. Those 201 slowly worked to make 800 more, then 4,000 more, then 20,000 more, then 80,000 more cyborgs, to set the planet at 100,001 people within 10 years.
The last of these 100,000 people was a male called Fasteri. He had great power, and was well know as the last cyborg to be created. All the cyborgs talked with each other, and knew everyone else. But one day, a cyborg mysteriously died, and several others followed. Everyone was confused, and the chaos was unbearable. People continued to die, and several went into hiding, including Fasteri. Eventually, there was only a few that managed to escape alive. The world was in ruins now, and the cyborgs left came out of hiding.
Gl1tch: The Collective
Forum Name: Gl1tch
Color: #80FF80
Character Name: The Collective
Element: Life/Death
Gender: The collective is made of more than one person, and as such, has no gender.
Race: The collective are a group of sentient insects, swarming together to form one being.
Age: The collective has been sentient for 1732 years, but as it is made up of insects that are constantly dying and being reborn, the oldest insect in the collective is approximately a month and a half old.
Appearance: The collective is a swarm of insects, and as such, can morph in appearance. It will constantly look like a 3d blob of green/black static, no matter what shape it takes.
Personality: The collective is a democracy, and as such, is slow to make decisions. It's one and only priority is survival. It's decisions are final.
Abilities: All members of the collective may share thoughts instantly, within range. As such, the collective can scatter into innocent looking insects, or have single insects act as spies. It communicates through the use of locusts and crickets, creates light through the use of fireflies, and attacks by using ticks and mosquitos. No diseased mosquitos/ticks are inside the collective. Anything an Earthen insect could do the collective can do as well, on a large scale.
Devour - The Collective surrounds it's opponent and leaves mosquitos and ticks upon it. Large portions of the collective are killed, and as such, the collective rarely decides to use this ability. The subject has it's blood drained as quickly as parasites can leech it. The collective then becomes bogged down with the reproduction of mosquitos and ticks.
Spy - The Collective leaves a tiny colony of lice/fleas upon it's opponent, and the spies communicate their information to the being.
Light - The Collective uses fireflies to light itself up, or something else.
Fly - The Collective's insects that may fly pick up those that cannot, and together they fly small distances.
Pollinate - The Collective makes honey out of flowers, gaining sustenance.
Scatter - The Collective's insects dissipate, maintaining a chain of communication, but becoming but single insects among the landscape. If the chain is broken, one being becomes two, and they become enemies.
Heal - The Collective does not heal wounded insects. Instead, the strong insects devour the weak and reproduce new ones.
Background and World Description: The collective come from a dimension that forked from Earth. Evolution took it's path, with one exception. After the dinosaur extinction, there was another. A mammalian extinction. After the mass death, decomposers thrived, and eventually began devouring any being large enough to be worth the kill. The only things that could survive had to be small. Eventually, species developed a system of pairing, one would sleep while the other kept moving to avoid death. Insects, being small, capable of flight, and reproducing quickly, were best adapted to this world. Soon the world's dominant species were insects, who evolved better communication between pairs. After millennia of evolution, large swarms of beings began to communicate instantaneously with each other, considering themselves one being. These beings seeded their members to ensure strength. Virus bearing insects formed infectious horrors, and parasites banded together as well. Insects that were good at breeding formed the collective.
Terroking: Masklin
Forum Name: Terroking
Color: Orange
Character Name: Masklin
Element: Gravity
Gender: Male
Race: Gravity Spirit
Age: 97
Appearance:
Eye/hair/skin color: None
Facial features: None
Height, weight, body build: Masklin stands at approximately 5.6, and weighs exactly as much as he wants to. (Generally, this is about 600 lbs, as that's as high of a weight he can maintain constantly) He's not broad, or extremely muscular, but when he needs to he can draw on a fair amount of strength.
Scars, tattoos, and other markings: None
Clothing: None
Anything that doesn't fall into the above categories: Masklin appears as a silhouette, due to the constant Blcsk Hole he keeps around him, which prevents any light or sound from emitting but, more importantly, shields him against most surprise attacks. The field is generally only about a 6-foot sphere (Seeing as he's close to 6 feet tall, not that big) and is diminished enough to see though except in his exact location.
Personality: Hard to describe, really. Using that temperament site, he's nothing specific but an almost perfect mix of all 4. In any case, he'd probably be a Pure Neutral if you wanted to use D&D terms, as he will do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, to get things done. However, he has a very strict moral code (No killing without reason, or letting others do the same) and the one thing he resents with his full and total capacity, is being controlled (Simply saying something like "You should be using a sword" will make him no only not use a sword, but continue in that path and never use a sword for a long, long time, perhaps even his entire life). And while he may forgive, he'll never,
ever, forget.
Abilities:
Black Hole: As mentioned above, Masklin can create Black Holes at any nearby location he wishes, draining the targeted area of elemental energy (It becomes exponentially more difficult to drain quanta the more there is). If there is enough quanta, Masklin can divert the energies to healing himself.
Gravity Force: Masklin can alter the force of Gravity between two objects, to essentially push or pull things in his chosen direction. This also works with magical attacks, but they can only be redirected to something else with elemental properties.
Devour: If he get close enough, Masklin can attempt to absorb a smaller foe into his permanent Black Hole, enlarging his own size if successful.
Momentum: Masklin can take force from another object and move it into another, increasing the aquiree's speed and foce until they collide with another object.
Implosion: By pulling objects towards a point and then forcing them outwards, Masklin can create a vacuum of unoccupied space ina small point, which pulls everything toward it again. The end result of this is to cause an explosion (Caused by the near-impossible amounts of friction) according to the size of the objects.
Skyfall: With enough energy, Masklin can center the gravity of a massive (We're talking plant-sized here) object on a single area, multiplying it my a thousandfold and smashing everything in the vicinity into the ground. To gain enough power to achieve this, though, he must either have absorbed a huge amount of energy without expending it, or Devoured large creatures multiple times.
Negative Zone: If Masklin cancels out all his other active spells, including his otherwise-permanent Black Hole, he can create a huge zone where all Gravity is canceled, air friction is multiplied a hundredfold, and all energy used is immediately snuffed out. When Masklin uses this spell, he vanishes, being unable to continue a stable presence as well as his Zone.
Background and World Description:
The world of Gravity is not a complex one, as it exists as a flat plain with no natural landmarks aside from one enormous volcano, simply polished steel stretching on for hundreds of thousands of miles. However, it's inhabitants are extremely technologically advanced, and have created rockets, space satellites, mechanical armor, and mechanized travel locomotives.
There are humans there, although they must wear heavy enchanted armor at all times in order to avoid being crushed by the planet's natural Gravity (Hospitals have anti-Gravity equipment, but everything is kept on the ground because of numerous Gravity Spirits who work to keep everything inside the building at manageable pressure levels). These people are Graviton, their self-given species name.
Some people don special flame-resistant armor and head into Cori Incendia, the "Planet"'s only natural landmark, where they train and meditate by the flames said to be left by an ancient meteor, and learn how to tame and control it. There people are Firemasters.
Of course, the world would be nothing without it's machines, and so when the urban sprawl began to overtake formerly rural areas and speedy travel was becoming ever more needed and difficult, mountable machines were created for people to ride on top of, and these could achieve incredible speeds when traveling in a straight line. These were the Chargers.
And, because eventually even Chargers because too slow and unmanuverable to work across the boundless terrain, the old war mechs that had been rusting in basements (War was a long-forgotten subject to most Gravitons, and a mystery to the rest) were hauled out into larger basements and worked on tirelessly (Until they had to go to sleep, of course) by inventors until a stable rocket-propelled machine capable of carrying passengers was designed. These were the Mechilexes.
And finally, we have the Spirits of Gravity, that mysterious race which had been in existence long, long before the Graviton had. They could bend Gravity to their will, and even strip other creatures of th extreme power, corruption was sure to follow, and some Spirits went insane with their power, turning into grotesque monsters that attacked the energies of others until there was only a lifeless husk, which they could then consume to increase their own energies. They Devoured anything on sight, becoming so primal as to lose all other functions. These were the Edossus.
Of course, there were the Dragons. Unlike most other similar species of different worlds, these had not been hunted anywhere close to extinction due to their near-invulnerability, which was caused by their steel skin and incredible strength. Colossal Dragons were often seen flying across the plains and cities, and sometimes a much larger Massive Dragon would been seen, the sun glinting off it's golden body. But sometimes, on a few rare occasions, something else was seen in the sky. There had been sighting that reported some as large as cities, some that claimed to see sightings of specimens a hundred times that. They were gigantic, they were unstoppable, and they were very rare. These were Chimeras, and they are the reason Masklin is not on his planet today.
Helios: Ticarael
Forum Name: Helios
Color: White
Character Name: Ticarael (Given Name), Grey Angel/Grey One
(Epithets)
Element: Light/Aether/Time
Gender: Asexual
Race: Angel
Age: Difficult to determine with exactitude; approximately 8000 years old
Appearance: As the epithet may suggest, Ticarael's eyes and hair are grey; a grey light emanates from his being, though it is bright and benevolent, being inclined towards white. Ticarael's face appears as neither old, nor young, though his calming eyes appear as pools of memory, reflecting the light and wisdom of the stars.
Considered to be relatively tall by the standards of his race, though not matching that of the High Angels, in his standard physical form, the Grey One stands at 188 cm and is relatively light, but remains strong and vigourous physically.
When in Heaven, no clothing is required for Ticarael, like all Angels have no motive to mask their true forms there. When elsewhere, a long, enveloping grey cloak covers the entirety of his body while a hood hangs over his head, such that nothing is visible to others save for his ever-shining grey eyes.
Personality: Ticarael is among the greatest sages of Heaven, surpassed only by the High Angels. Though his wisdom enables him to assume most virtues, he, like many powerful Angels, is also tragically flawed in a specific manner: he is largely incapable of romantic love on a personal level because he is asexual. Having witnessed the rampant destruction, death and misery caused by lesser races, he is sometimes mistrustful of them, but has always recognised their potential for great good and genuinely believes in the goodness of their souls. Unlike some of his friends, and even some of the High Angels, he does not possess an attitude which stipulates that Heaven is absolutely infallible. The Grey Angel, however, if he cannot know romance on a personal level, is a firm romantic on a cosmic scale, which ultimately explains his close friendships with the High Angel of Love and with the highest of the High Angels, himself the very embodiment of romantic idealism. Like all Angels, Ticarael more than believes: he knows of the existence of the One, or God whom created everything into being.
Abilities:
Intimacy with Light: Ticarael can use Light offensively and defensively in a variety of ways as his primary weapon.
The most significant and notable of Ticarael's abilities regarding Light are listed here:
Intimacy with Weapons: Ticarael can handle all weapons reasonably well, though his favourite is the extremely swift and lethal medium-length sword Alpha, Blade of the Beginning, combined with Istva, his shield. A bright blue light emits from both Alpha and Istva. While both are made of the most durable, strong and yet light material known to anyone in the world, Ticarael is aware that even greater swords exist.
Wrath of the Gods: Summoning forth the portion of the might of Heaven which he controls, Ticarael creates a powerful lightning storm of grey-blue thunderbolts smiting enemies. (Low-Medium drain of energy, though dependent on the length of time for which the storm is sustained: as a technique in-combat, used only when necessary; however, very useful for intimidation)
Divine Guardian: The High Angels themselves respond to the pleas of Ticarael, creating a massive shield of Light and holy energies around the Grey Angel and allies, swathing a large area with High Angelic Light, greatly healing allies and hurting enemies. (High drain of energy: collapse from exhaustion afterwards is certain; exhaustion may last for a full day at this level)
Restored Angelic Form: Most of Ticarael's limitations caused by his absence from Heaven are restored, becoming almost a true Angel of Heaven, brighter and taller. (Can be sustained for a few hours to equate a medium-high drain of energy)
The Grey One: However, Ticarael is special even amongst the Angels; summoning forth the wisdom of his soul, he attains his current pinnacle: that of the true Grey Angel. The light emanating from his body and weapons becomes nearly blinding. (Can be sustained for minutes at the most, drain of energy is massive)
Intimacy with Aether: Though unlike the High Angels, Ticarael must assume a physical form while not in Heaven, he remains immaterial to a certain extent, being difficult to hit by enemies. Being an Angel, he is also not restricted by the dimensions of the physical world and can move onto another plane for a brief amount of time.
Intimacy with Time: Ticarael is not only ancient, but his wisdom has granted him the power to exercise a small degree of control over Time itself (being able to slow it down or accelerate it slightly, but without stopping it altogether), this being the most powerful of his elemental abilities.
Background and World Description: Born during the Elder Days in an almost forgotten time, Ticarael is the only asexual Angel in all of Heaven, and as such is very unique. Though not a High Angel, he is reputed to be as wise as they are and among the few with potential for wielding truly great power, being already one of the most important advisers to the High Angelic Council.
The world of Ardeaon is divided into two continents: Valerian and Fastidor. The latter is inhabited by many intelligent (and some not particularly intelligent) races in various settlements, villages, towns and cities. Valerian is the Heaven of Ardaeon and the home of the Angels. Its capital, Valdaer, is the seat of the High Angelic Council.
The High Angels are the regents of the One, administrating Ardeaon under a mandate created when the world was formed. They are only twelve in number, and are extremely powerful: to the extent of being gods. Lesser Angels serve them and assist them in their duties, especially where Fastidor is concerned, because the High Angels, due to their immense power will never intervene personally there.
However, there once was a thirteenth High Angel, and the most powerful of them. Unfortunately, unlike his brethren, he sought not only to shape, but to create, a power which only the One is capable of wielding and was thus corrupted when the world was created, falling from grace and into evil. During these very earliest of days, as the High Angels gave shape to the world, the Dark One destroyed whatever they formed, sparking a massive, tumultuous and cataclysmic open conflict between the High Angels and the Dark One. As the divine, immaterial spirits battled for nothing less than the future of Ardaeon, the world itself was devastated and fundamentally re-shaped multiple times. However, though the war seemed to be at a standstill for many years, eventually, the combined might of the High Angels succeeded in driving the Dark One away, but were forced to commit a large share of their power to ensuring that the world remained stable and orderly and thus were unable to further pursue their campaign against the Dark One, whom continued to exist, albeit in darkness beyond the edge of the world itself.
But now, the Dark One is but a small memory of the ancient past. Many inhabitants of Fastidor are not even aware of his existence, and even the Angels of Valerian have become complacent where he is concerned. The High Angels rarely depart from their respective abodes now, and the Angels have essentially left the inhabitants of Fastidor completely to their own devices. Relative tranquility reigns, but all is not calm beneath the surface.
Krahhl: Sethri
Forum Name: Krahhl
Color: #8055FF
Character Name: Sethri
Element: Water
Gender: Male
Race: Elf
Age: 27
Appearance: Sethri is average for an elf, though a bit on the tall side at two meters. He resembles a human with a more streamlined body and a proud aura. He weighs 70 kilograms and has well-defined, but not bulging, muscles. Dirty blonde hair flows straight down slightly below his shoulders. His pointed ears jut out on the side of his head. His narrow orange eyes are mysterious and observant, half covered by his bangs. He has no facial hair on his sharply rounded chin. He wears a red leather vest, loose on his pale skin, complemented by casual brown leather pants and boots.
Personality: Sethri is passive and goes with the flow, preferring to follow instructions rather than take lead. He is extremely intelligent and proud, but he does not like holding responsibility for others. However, he is quick to risk his own life to save that of an ally’s, as long as there is a good chance they can both survive. He is not so willing to directly sacrifice himself. In a conversation, he listens attentively, but says little. He seems almost cold at first, but he isn’t hard to get along with. He does not hesitate to kill, but will not do so without good reason. He acknowledges the existence of higher entities, but he lives life as it is. He believes that gods and worldly beings will do what they will, interacting only when necessary.
Abilities: Sethri, being an elf, has immense strength and stamina, as well as lightning agility and reflexes. He can run as fast as and for longer than an antelope and can flick a fly out of the air, though swimming is his real talent. He prefers to fight from a distance, dropping foes before they can reach him. He is a powerful magician, though casting a spell tolls just as much energy as any similar physical action would. He especially focuses on manipulating water and ice. He is also an elite archer, able to snipe a moving eye 200 meters away, hardly taking time to aim. His melee skills are somewhat lacking, and he relies on magic to escape close combat. If the battle is not going in his favor, he can freeze everything to almost absolute zero and flee, though this drains a massive amount of energy, so he cannot perform this if he doesn’t have enough remaining. It also leaves him very vulnerable if he meets hostility before resting.
Sethri has a companion, Nyks, which is something like a cross between a winged eel and a hexapodal salamander. Its body is smaller than a horse, but it has a long neck and tail. It has dark, yet seemingly luminescent, midnight-green scales and lighter colored fins running down its neck and the back half of its tail. Antennas protrude from crests above its black eyes and sharp teeth line its mouth. It excels at swimming with its webbed feet, although it is also a skilled runner and flyer. It has a special organ that holds compacted water, which it can shoot out of its mouth at extremely high pressure. It can easily sense the tone in which someone is speaking, but it can only fluently understand the elven language. Nyks serves as a flying mount, a partner in combat, and a friend to Sethri. It is unknown where the rest if its species lives or whether they exist at all.
Background and World Description: The elven name for the land in which they reside cannot be approximated with the English phonetic system, but it roughly translates to “Home”. This land is covered by forests, where the elves are constantly warring with the other sentient race, whom the elves call “savages”. Their appearance is somewhat similar to jaguars, but they outmatch even the elves in physical capabilities. It is their lack of magic that prevents them from overpowering the elves.
Sethri was born in a large elf city, but he was moved to a nearby village where life was not as easy. As he grew up, it became clear that his element was water, as he always seemed to have much closer connection with it than any other element. When he was eight, he was trained as a warrior, taught to perfect his skills for the destruction of others. However, there was heavy focus on discipline, drawing the line between warrior and bloodthirsty murderer. At age eighteen, Sethri took a vacation to the East Sea, where he discovered a mangled and suffering Nyks on the ocean bed. He nursed it back to health, and the two have bonded since.
jamesdyer680: Elderich Mindfang
Forum Name: jamesdyer680
Color:#40FFFF
Character Name: Elderich Mindfang (Nickname: Mindman)
Element: Aether
Gender: Male
Race: Mindus Hesitatus
Age: 25
Appearance:
Elderich Mindfang has eyes and hair which are so dark brown, they're almost black, unless bright light is directly shining at him.His height is average for an Mindus Hesitatus, at 4'11".He weighs 37 kg and wears a purple shirt and shorts, and he always has a dagger in his pocket just in case he meets an unwanted visitor.
Personality: He is playful and can easily entertain himself, but he only kills if he has to and is short tempered, quick to react and believes that God won't mess around with the world unless it's necessary.
Abilities:
1. The Mindus Hesitatus is born with amazing psychic powers and all of them know how to enter almost anybody's mind and manipulate them or control their body for a brief moment (about a minute or so, unless they accept being controlled or are very dumb), but it's quite hard to stop him from entering your mind unless you have a strong mind or are another psychic person, but even so,it's hard to stop a mind attack from a Mindus Hesitatus, but this takes a
HUGE toll on him if he uses it for too long or too hard in a day, most of the time he faints after that, and wakes up in the best of cases, a few minutes, but in the worst, a day afterwards.
2. Elderich Mindfang isn't very strong at close range, but he can infuse his dagger with strange energies that make his stabs more efficient and hurt some more, but this makes him lose some of his energy, so he gets hurt more if he gets hit while his dagger is infused, as it links to his mind by a faint link, but he can destroy the link quite easily.
3. Not only can he give mind attacks, he can also resist them, so he can withstand 10-30 mind attacks a day, but he gets a little tired after a while.
World Description: Elderich Mindfang lives on the planet Urzanda where the Mindus Hesitatus fight their everlasting enemy, the Hondas, who are brutes that are very strong at close range and are very dumb. Urzanda is a bluish-green planet, partly because of all the trees there. It's always cold on the planet so all of them are impervious to cold weather and spells that make them cold, but they get hot very easily.
Background Description: When he was young, Eldrich Mindfang was playful and always used his mind powers on creatures he finds and makes them do silly stuff in front of his friends, which is why they called him 'Mindman'.When he got older, he used his powers to tame strong beasts and was an amazing psychic, which was why he stood undefeated in wars, but once, he found a strange portal with only a view of ashes, he stepped through, into the land of Elements.
