Hmm...

He doesn't need 12 fractals, he could do with 8 or 10.

This gives some more card space to work with.

Maybe 4 Black Dragons could really help decay a lot.

Now that there's Sanctuary, I think Decay could do with a minor buff. Xeno's suggestion in the FG Proposals (topic here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,26137.0.html)) is pretty sound (powering Fractals off of marks only) and adding Dragons to get past the -2 shields. It would certainly make facing it with CCYB a bit more of a challenge.

5th week: Destiny

Description:
Code: [Select]
6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6tt 6tt 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u6 6u6 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q2 7q2 7q2 7q2 7q2 7q2 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q8
Destiny plays her main creature card, fate eggs (being called destiny), and use their skills to brutal effects, worse, the fallen druids can make stealers in her field, that could wipe your chances of winning out. Her main strategy is to play an eternity card to stop any creature setup and keep you stuck on the field drawing the same card over and over, while her eggs hatch into some nasty (or not so nasty) creatures that will make mincemeat of your health. No actual permanent control in terms of cards means as long as a mutated creature doesnt have destroy or steal means you can play any setup you want without fear of it being destroyed, but your creatures can still be controlled. Maxwell demons put the icing on the cake by killing off any creatures that you have that have more attack than health these include – dragons, golems, Fire spirits, and others.

Counter Cards:
Dimensional Shield/Phase Shield
Effect: Shield: shift out of phase for 3 turns. Physical attacks are unable to hit you while this is in play.

She has no PC unless her eggs/mutants get lucky, so unless the case mentioned happens the only way she can possibly get damage through this is with momentum'd creatures from mutations/eggs

Lobomizer/Electrocuter
Effect: :aether :aether/ :aether : remove any skill from the target creature.

Stop the eggs before Destiny gets lucky, also lobomizes the elves before they can turn the lobomized eggs into mutants of mass destruction

Thunderstorm
Effect: Deals 1 damage to every enemy creature. Removes invisibility.

Not reusable, but if you can somehow delay the Eggs from hatching this will take them all out in one shot.

Rain of Fire/ Fire Storm
Effect: Deals 3 damage to every enemy creature. Removes invisibility.

Like Thunderstorm, not reusable and while more expensive it is more flexible (You can take out elves with this too)

Otyugh
Effect: :gravity: Devour: Swallow a smaller (less HP’s) creature and gain +1/+1

If you can get one of these out early, her eggs will be swallowed in an instant. If it's upgraded, you can feast on elves too. Just make sure it's quinted though, otherwise it will just get rewinded to death or mutated.

Eternity
Effect: :time :time :time Put a creature back in its owner’s deck.

Destiny only has 5 supernovas, and that's only 20 quanta for every element. Rewind any none :time or :entropy creature enough times and you'll never see it again.

Reverse Time/Rewind
Effect: The target creature becomes the first card of the creature owner’s deck

Destiny only has 5 supernovas, and that's only 20 quanta for every element. Rewind any none :time or :entropy creature enough times and you'll never see it again.

Mind Flayer/Ulithard
Effect: :aether : Psionic Wave: Remove any skill from the target creature

Stop the eggs before Destiny gets lucky, also lobomizes the elves before they can turn the lobomized eggs into mutants of mass destruction
Results:
Nerf: 1
Buff: 17
Leave Destiny as she is: 9
Too random for justified answer: 4

destiny is fun as hell to play against. you have no idea what might happen and i LOVE that. sometimes hes easy as stealing candy from a baby in the middle of a park with no one around, but other times its like stealing candy from a UFC fighter who just got pumped by steroids.. iz fun
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

Yeah I'm gonna say keep it, Destiny's whole strategy is based on luck anyway -- it's hard to "buff" that.

My total percentage of losses against Destiny with all the FG decks I've used is most likely under 10%. The one-in-a-million UFC fighter (35|39 Amethyst Dragon) happened once against RoL/Hope, but CCYB just AM's it. x)
You don't have to add to the specific strategy to buff it. Even just one Explosion and one Improved Steal would make her more dangerous and unpredictable. As it is, she's one of the most predictable and, overall, the one I'd call the weakest FG.

^Good point. It wouldn't upset the quanta balance very much either; Destiny could power Explosions/Steals off of Supernovas if just one (two) of each were added.

Tooooo muuuuuch :entropy.

Either needs more Amethyst Dragons or something else to use up all those towers.
Alternately, make it entropy mark and replace most of them with time towers.

Mitosis would be cool in it too, actually.

I also think its possibly the weakest FG, but one needs to be the weakest, right? I think we have enough hard FGs to worry about, and playing this one is like a bonus. Voted to leave it as it is.

Ps 1: its one, probably the main name in a short FG list that can be defeated by the unupped mono Aether deck. Adding PC could possibly trouble people that are trying to get kong hard badge ;)

Ps 2: another weak point of Destiny: no shields.

Meh FGs are supposed to be a little hard, and Destiny just isn't. Usually the deck just falls on its face without the player really having to do anything.

Destiny needs at least a small buff.

Of course. Destiny was the first FG I was told about by the Oracle. I had Monoaether at the time and killed her face like nothing.
Thing is, even with a small buff she'd still be the easiest.

Well the best way to buff Destiny is to buff Fate Eggs (which are plain crap), though some less Amethyst Towers would help as well.
It used to be a tough FG for Shak'ars, making it one of the few fgs to stand in it's way consistently (druids), but that FG farmer isn't really viable anymore since that rewind ai-buff, making Destiny an even happier name to appear when clicking false gods. Destiny has it's moments, first turn Fate Egg hatching some monstrosity that gets CP spammed to outrush you in no time, but it's usually just a walk in the park.
