I noticed the thing about the Vultures and Pegasi as well, but they are better where they are. The vultures need to be on light squares in order to attack the hourglasses.
Nymphs/Marks are for Tournaments and Leagues. PvP Events don't have code prizes, since they are harder to give out than forum icons.
So will only unupped cards be allowed for non-promoted pieces? *crosses fingers*
Yes.  You can only use un-upgraded cards unless you promote a pawn.

To clarify a bit: what is the relation between match, games and round? Since "match" traditionaly means certain set or amount of games, do match consist possibly 3 games (since its best or 3)?. Or if players have a week for the full match means that they have a week only for the 1 full game? And about "round" - if rules say that I can swap decks (between pawns and between rook and knight for example) after each round, then does it mean that I can't swap decks between the games with the same opponent.

A suggestion: if "match" really means just 1 game, then I would just suggest a harsh rule: best of 1.

Huh, confusing..

Each round lasts 1 week and during this time the players must finish the chess game. A chess game can consist of any number of duels, it depends on the players. Duels are best of 3 - the first to win two wins the duel, and the other piece is removed. Decks can be swapped anytime, but it will take effect only in the next round, so only in the next chess game, against the next opponent.

So, in summary:

Round: lasts 1 week, this consists of chess games (matches/matchups)
Chess game: the chess game itself, pieces moving and dueling, etc.
Duels: best of 3 games

Does this clarify it?

I'm not sure if best of 1 is a good idea. Did you see the chaos it caused in War? We'd like to avoid that.

Actually i'm not familiar what this rules caused in War. But ok, it was just a thought making things quicker.

But rules say that we have 1 week for 1 full match. Not a week for matches or matchups. Nor it does say that a round lasts 1 week.

By chess game you can understand both the "game itself" and a single game between Anand and Kraminik for example. When I suggested "best of 3 games" then I meant the last meaning.

Ok then, as I understood and speaking in "my language" at the moment, we have 1 week for possible 3 games and we can't swap decks between those games if they are played against the single opponent. Right?

Ok, I already saw a thread which says that round lasts a week. Now rules say that a match and a round are the same things. At least 2 games must be played in that time (because a match is best of 3 single games), so we are kind of in hurry  :).
Gucubbies you are done with decks already?

Oh god, I just got terrified for a second - when rules say that the winner is who is best of 3 games, didn't you mean that that applies also inside of the 1 chess game - I mean when a pawn and a pawn oppose to each other, they must decide the winner after 3 games too? If so, then please-please change it!

Under chess game, I mean the whole stuff, from the first move to checkmate. You have 1 week to do this. If two opposing pieces meet, a duel takes place. This can happen many times during the course of the (chess) game.

Either you or me misunderstand something badly.

Ok, if I understood you now, we have to play only 1 chess game in 1 round but that "best of 3" applies not to the different chess games (my game 1 with Shantu till checkmate, my game 2 with Shantu till checkmate etc), but best of 3 applies inside the game between pawns and pawn and rook for example. Am I finally right?

Great  :) . In that case time is not so big problem too.

Then 1 round is 1 match is 1 chess game (only lol).

For the main pieces, is there a minimum amount which has to be used from each element? From which point on becomes a duo and not just a mono relying on the mark? Or it doesn't matter at all?

Edit: I couldn't find any info on the matter so for safety I asked.

For the main pieces (with the exception of the King) there's no restriction for the number of cards used per element - they just have to follow the 'forum-definition' of duo, and also they can use any mark.
