I fail to see how you could put both of the weapons out without using at least one Animate Weapon first.

Like I said, they cannot both be played together without it.

And it's not cheap and underhanded, at least in my mind. It's mainly just the art (Which isn't yours, or so you said) combined with how they generate a sort of "Legendary" feel by mentioning, "If ____ is in play, gain ____".

I'm pretty sure it's hard to do intentionally too.

The point is, you can't put both weapons out. Say, if you want the free Nadir ability, you must play Zenith first, then use Nadir to replace Zenith. Otherwise they would be overpowered.

And what I meant was, I probably could make two cards that synergize well with each other but do not mention each other's names at all. Normally I make cards for the sake of making cards, but this time I made the cards for the sake of winning.

If you want to use the free Nadir ability, you'd have to play Nadir, fly it, then play Zenith in your slot afterwards.

If you use Nadir to replace Zenith as you say, then Zenith is no longer in your slot, and will be just as good as if it were hit by a Deflag.

Alright, disregard the above statements. I just re-read the card (After doing so about 20 times without noticing this ) and found out that the free cost is only available when one is played over the other. Now that I noticed this, it comes to mind that it's way UP. You're paying the cost of one card simply to then destroy it and gain a few free quantums from the ability of the other, after you pay the second cost of getting your other weapon out.

But smart idea Purity_Riot. I don't think that it was as efficient to put the poll in the same thread as the topic that allowed people to post their submissions.

Someone tell me what the votes looked like before purity riot nullified them. Was Zenith Nadir like 20 to 1 for everyone else or?

They're still up there at the top, but Zenith/Nadir was at 6 and the closest competitors were at 4 (My entries and Kami's Blessed One/Demonic Aura). I think another one might have been 4 or 3, but I forget which one it was.

Btw, voted for Ice Age/Burning Stallion because they're my cards, and I wouldn't have entered them if I didn't think they were good, Blessed One/Demonic Aura because I do believe they share a good synergy, with one being on the verge of UP and the other nearly OP, and Proliferation/Zombie, because I like both of their ideas and I actually suggested something like Proliferation for the shield competition.

Not at all, I meant to finish the statement, but lost track while I was trying to see who's cards didn't fit into the contest. I'm giving you guys a chance to rework your cards so they are in fact a synergy. Unfortunately I'll also be removing Icy's since he won't be here to rework them anytime soon, as his are not a synergy either. Wizelsnarf and Bloodshadow, you guys have another 19 hours to make your cards a synergy, I'm extending it because I didn't quite finish my sentence. Anyone else who would like to make some last minute changes to their current entry may do so as well.

CLARIFICATION: This is a chance to rework your current card entries, not to enter new cards. I don't care if your new card is barely recognizable as it's original, but the names of the cards that have been entered will not change, and I expect to see a similarity at the very least to your originals.
