Like many said before me the ablilty to use the skill right when its used is a good idea. But if that never happens its a pretty useless card to me since none of my cards use skills, which means ill have 2 lonely unupgraded SOR's in my bank...

This card is fine. It makes nice Duo decks become Mono and nice Trio decks become Duos. Towers and Pendulums become more effective. I love this card, I would not change it.

The card is very weak, I mean, still, are you going to put 6 SoRs in your deck and 6 Squids? No. You don't need that many. Really ideally, you'd want 2 SoRs and 2 Squids which would be pretty good CC, but then you'd be prone to bad draws.

It should be something like, cost is increased by 1 or 2 quanta, but then you can use the ability twice per turn. Then it'd see some use.

I think it is underpowered.

I kind of Like Kael Hate's idea.

Maybe if it made the cost of ability negative. So I play it on FFQ and instead of paying 2 :life I gain 2 :life every time I use it?

That doesn't seem like it would break the game or anything since it would still be one use per turn...

I think this is definitely underpowered. When I play T50, the SoG gets spammed and the SoD is quite common too (less than SoG through). However, I rarely see use of a SoR. So I guess this is somewhat underpowered.

The problem isn't the quanta cost of the card, but the fact it takes up a card slot. I think that just like precogninition, this should draw a card when played. That makes it less of a waste of a card slot.

The problem is that this would be great on Purple nymph, no doubt, but if you do that, it'll be an even bigger target for CC. That means you need 3 cards, Nymph, SoR, AND an Quint. That's tough to get, most people don't even have 1  :entropy nymphs, and on top of the fact that drawing 3 different cards in the right order (nymph first, SoR second, then quint last.) means that this card is quite ineffective. I favor a buff

It would kick butt in unupgraded, but thats because all the expensive skills generally get cheapened when they are upgraded. Three cost skills become two and two cost becomes one. The obvious fix is to just make it effect all of the creatures on your side of the field.

well, if it can increase a creature status by 1/1, i think it would be ok, but right now, while it's very crucial in some decks (such as my made-up deck of mono water and flying tridents... sounds crazy, i know...), it requires upgrading.. and that's not good

@demut, u do know that this needs to be upgraded to be used right?

Which is why I used a hypothetical tense.

Before I get my face yelled off: in my opinion the card is a bit OP. No great buff is what I have in mind, only a small thematical one. I think SoR should remove the delayed status from creatures (caused by BB, Procrastination or Warden). It wouldn't change anything, but it fits, I mean this shard makes you... ready, right?

I'd be okay with this if they fix it so you can't spam it to get +2 activations/turn instead of 2 total, like it reads.
