Vreely's No Upgrade Fire Rush T50 Killer [fire/light] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3882.msg37368#msg37368

Disclaimers and Credits:  This is the non-upped version of my Rainbow T50 Killer. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3874.0.html)  I completely stole that deck idea after playing one of CB!'s decks in T50 as I was experimenting with speed t50 farming decks.   I have also seen a version by Jmizzle and also a whole spattering of similar speed rush decks based upon Cremation in the rainbow deck section & the Dual-Trio deck section.   Plastique and PuppyChow have similar builds.

The basic premise is to dump Golems & Dragons as quickly as you can in order to kill the opponent as soon as possible.   Like other decks of this type, you will either win or lose in 5-13 turns.  It enables you to rip through T50 at a high rate of speed as you scour the board for rares.  It would probably do OK in PvP also, but starts to break down at AI5, and is worthless against FGs.

As a completely non-upgraded form of the deck, you can build it after about an hour of playing a brand new account, and start to farm rares from T50 immediately.

Vreely's No Upgrade Fire Rush T50 Killer
Mark of :earth

The "Bones" of the deck:
  • Immolation x6
  • Photon x6
  • Burning Pillar x5
Immolation + Photon .   This is your structure and creates the speed quantum engine to power the rest of the deck.  Normally hold your Photon until you can sacrifice it the same turn you play it.   Exceptions are when playing against speed poison, green rush, or any other deck type known to not have creature kill.  A wonderful starting hand is 2 Photons, 2 Immolations , a Crimson Dragon and a Lava Golem.   Without adding anything to that you have a 5 turn kill if they don't get some defense out.

I did find it useful to put the 5 pillars in so that way you can have another few cards to play in turn 1 or 2 in case you cannot slaughter a Photon.

The "Punch" of the deck:
  • Lava Golem x5
  • Crimson Dragon x2
Doing your heavy lifting are these 7 bad boys   It is not a hoard, but it does not take much if you can get a couple out early.   Always play a couple Golems over a Dragon because you do want to grow them as soon as possible to get them out of fire storm range.  Go ahead and peck at them with the Photons if they are playing a deck without creature control, or you only need a couple of extra points to finish the kill in 2 rounds.

The "Support" of the deck:
  • Hammer
  • Deflagration x4
  • Rage Potion
Hammer is just a basic weapon to fill out your weapon slot and do a bit of damage.  Since you have an Earth mark its a bit better than a sword.   It also will hopefully use some of your non-fire quanta.   This can easily be removed for another dragon if you want.

Deflagration is what it is.  Mostly I hold one to bash down a Phase Shield on the final round.   Other times they are used to take out hourglasses or Shards.

Rage Potion serves a dual function.  First it can kill an annoying creature like a quick Oty or a druid.  Secondarily it can be used to pump up a developed Golem to aid in a final turn kill.

Upgrade Priorities:
This deck, or any variation of it will never work for FG farming, but if you do want to upgrade it a bit to help out your T50 farming this is the order I would do it in:
  • Immolation.   The best card to upgrade for speeding it up.
  • The Golems.  Easily worth the extra casting cost for more damage.
  • Deflagration.  Again, just speeds it up.  Plus this is a good utility upgrade card for many other decks.
  • Pillars.   My upgraded version uses 4 of them.
  • Crimson Dragon
  • Buy a Lightning and upgrade it. (replace the Rage Potion with this)
  • Buy a Momentum and upgrade it. (helps beat Bone Walls)
  • Buy 3 Precognitions and upgrade them. (speeds up draw and gives information)
I have a fully upgraded version of the deck in the Rainbow Deck section called my 27-card Fire Rush T50 Killer. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3874.0.html)

Summary:
It performs well at T50 level even without a single upgrade  It has a good chance against the green rush, and almost always beats the poison rush.  The standard Rainbow decks never have a chance to get out of bed, although the speed rainbow will sometimes catch you off guard.

The primary weakness of the deck is your initial draw.  If you cannot pair an Immolation + Photon in 3 turns or less then you are most likely cooked.  Other weakness are the annoying flying (or protected) Eternity, Rewinds (found in time/earth denial), quick Immortal Otys (from speed rainbow), and Bone Walls.

Solid deck.  I usually add a couple Fire Spirits in place of some Photons when I play Immolation /w Fire Pillars.

Ah yes.  Good catch.  I started it wrong once and perpetuated it throughout.  Fixed now.

On the momentum, I do not like the unupped version as much since it costs 2 gravity.  Not that it cannot work, but I ended up preferring things that only cost one non-fire.

True I wouldn't put unupped momentum in a mono fire like this, you're better off sticking with Deflags.  Momentum works great for me in my rainbow golem rush deck for fighting T50 though because in that deck I've got novas and immolates.

This deck works GREAT. I made a new account today and spent quite a few hours farming top 50 and here are my results:
Rares won:
My win record:

I upgraded a few cremations, and they really help since you can play two golems with a single cremation.
