Politics / Re: Abortion: Why so serious?
« on: January 13, 2011, 05:05:24 am »
yes self esteem issues is better than death but it would be far worse than adoption as they will feel inhuman ( and be treated the same way based off humanity's track record) as they would never have a grown inside of their mother, thereby not only making them extremely different to any other human but also another breaking the connection between the mother and the child( by this  i mean the child will feel as if they never had any parents) as orphans often go and find their blood parents this breaking in the connection means it would be less likely the child would search for the parents and even less that their parents will care. BTW i know a lot of this is speculation but thats all we can really do from this position.

Politics / Re: US Republican Party: Evil Incarnate.
« on: January 13, 2011, 04:43:23 am »
evil doesn't want to be grouped with republicans because evil doesn't contradict itself every five seconds.
actually evil does contradict its self every 5 seconds its a means of control, its called double think. Besides the republicans are just puppets for the conglomerates and democrats are just spineless liers

people don't consider abortion as murder because the baby is still part of the mother it hasn't actually developed a separate conscious yet, in most cases the brain hasn't even developed yet so its no different to deciding to have sex with a condom. Artificial wombs would not work as the children born from them would have a poor self image as they would no they are unwanted this would lead to an increase in orphans, also to do this you would have to develop the technology( which would cost heaps but that is irrelevant as you cant put a price on human life) and this would give humans dangerous amounts of power.

Design Theory / Re: When should a card be rare?
« on: January 13, 2011, 03:58:57 am »
true but if you do that people often lose the motivation to try and get these cards as while they are cool to have if they are no better than a normal card they would just be trophys. But i suppose rare cards being more specialized than other cards would mean players will try harder to obtain them for specialized decks.

Religion / Re: Why Atheism?
« on: January 11, 2011, 08:07:05 am »
Atheist's believe god doesn't exist as no evidence exists to support it, this includes miracle and the bible almost every religion claims to have miracles and a holy book this alone proves nothing especially when the book is as old as the bible. I need no prove atheism as it is the default we are not born believing in one religion or another, with out evidence you can claim anything is true, for instance you cannot prove the invisible, undetectable pixie on my shoulder doesn't exist. The person making the positive claim must provide the evidence.

Politics / Re: Obama to sign law ending military gay ban
« on: January 11, 2011, 07:51:38 am »
There have been gays in the military for a very long time, it suddenly being legal doesn't mean gays are going to suddenly start harassing their male counterparts, and gays being legal will increase efficiency in the military as gays will feel happier less oppressed and thus work harder.

Design Theory / Re: More Vanilla Cards?
« on: January 10, 2011, 08:01:46 am »
It would be interesting to have a deck based around vanilla cards, but i think it would just end up being similar to a rainbow deck as any pillar can be used in it so good cards from all quanta would end up being used.

i agree with you rareness shouldn't be used used as a reason for a card to not be overpowered as it makes the game very easy for long time players, but in saying that, slightly better cards being rare gives newbie players something to strive for adding more fun to the game. Especially early in the game when money is hard to get.

Trio & Quartet / Re: Flash fires deck

i find its better to get rid of the heavy amours and use two more explosions instead shields can really slow down a rush deck
