This is meant to give newer players a little push and motivation on upgrading their cards

Assassim's laws on evolution
1. If the creature is buffed(creatures own ability or spell) then the buff will carry over through evoluton

Examples-1/1 forest spirit gets blessing then evolution. Turns into 4/6 forest sprite. (1+3+0,1+3+2)
                12/12 forest spirit gets blessing then evolution. Turns into 15/17 sprite. (12+3+0,12+3+2)

2. Buffs/debuffs will also carry over (antafloxin,poison,adren,momen.,freeze)


3. Mutants whose original form without abilities will keep the ability granted upon mutation, but stats will revert to original creature stats.
Examples 3/9 mutant blue crawler with devour gets evolution, turns into original 6/6 abyss crawler with devour


4. Mutants whose original form has a ability will have the mutants ability taken away to be replaced with the original creature's ability. If the mutant has buffed itself with it's ability(lets say growth) then the abilities buff caries over

Example-5/27 armigo with ablaze (used ablaze once) gets evolution, turns into 3/30 elite armigo with grav pull


Hope these laws can clear up some confusion

good idea,but it doesn't good in a upgrade deck.

Might be a good idea problems I could see is the cost might be too low. Also it might need restrictions like can only be used in cards in hand. Just ideas I think this could be overpowered it would essentially be a ticket to making fg's easier.

Ok so ask and you shall receive I hope this works, it was done by a friend of mine to show the Maelstrom of Evolution and I am hoping it works for you.

Evolution/Greater Evolution


Hope the cards are ok, I did use your card as the upgraded and made the normal cost 2 :time rather than 1 I hope this is ok with you.

Ok so my two cents worth:

I like the card and its use is sound. I do have a few clarification questions though:
 1. This card will affect every card in play so you could use it on a permanent as well. Am I right in saying that?
 2. When used on a pillar to turn into a tower do you automatically get the Quanta as well?
 3. This cannot be used on spells?

I like the idea espicially as you could double up with rewind and fill the persons hand with unupgraded creatures that have very little use. Coupled with eternity you could keep someone at a stand still for some time.

Many upgraded cards only have differences in casting costs, there the effect would not really overpowered ...


also, i would call the upgraded version "faster evolution" or something like that, because "greater" sounds ... bigger, more powerful or whatever, but not ... cheaper

Doing that would require 3 cards: a normal oty, blessing, and quint(i don't even know why you added that there, evolution does not make the creature immaterial). This card's strength can work both ways, as a buff or debuff, and it's effect various from creature to creature. A blessing costs 3 light and gives +3/+3 on a normal oty, Evolution costs 2 time and gives a oty +0/+2, so i wouldn't call that overpowered at all.

Frankly, I like this card.  It has plenty of hidden or situational uses, but can be great for that deck that takes months to upgrade, or if you want the benefits of both the basic card and its upgrade.

This card would be great and I can just see the AI using it on their Sparks or Photons in a match.

A great use of the mind this card would be as we struggle to see the best upgrades available.

One thing does this mean that we can upgrade Nymphs on the fly then which would make my Nymph deck much more useful.

I like that it down grades creatures, say i had a Micro-Abomination, I could power it up with this cards if I had no mutatations in my hand, or if it had come out of my elite fate eggs.
