	WAR #3 - ROUND 6 Read the War Rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13006.0.html) Contact Warmasters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=293,3167) News: There will be 35 duels this round covering 4 days of deckbuilding and 3 days of dueling. Discard for losing this round is 30. Due to odd pairings, Gravity receives a bye this round. 50/50 Subbing. Whats it all about? There have been some questions about this and how it works. It is an option to allow teams where both players are both active in attempting to get the game resolved but because of scheduling and/or real life the players are unable to come together to complete their match. Instead of both teams taking a loss or trying to work out who is the most active, the players may ask the warmasters to allow a 50/50 sub. If this happens and both parties agree, one team offers a Sub and then both teams claim only half the salvage they would claim due to using a Sub. Ask a Warmaster First. This option will not be given when 1 or both sides Sub due to inactivity. Discarding for last rounds event. If you lost your pointman, the cards you discard must come from the deck first and then from the vault of cards you didn't use. You don't get to discard from your salvage.
Event Card: No Small Thing: All decks must have at least 35 cards this round if possible. *If you vault is less than 35 you will simply use all the cards you have left. *You may not try and overuse cards in one deck to make another deck below 35.	Deckbuilding: Duel phase has started Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be posted on the secret team section. Team Deckbuilder starts the topic, and all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing deck post is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty, and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start. Duels: Round has ended Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends. PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html) might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you are both are online, please contact Warmasters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=293,3167) Kael Hate or ddevans96 immediately. If the match doesn't happen, you both lose by default, unless one of you is clearly more active and/or more flexible. Duels are "best-of-three", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. Please make sure you record your duels correctly. Notes: When processing the SPDC for this turn Gravity have noticed a mistake in their Vault. This will put them below 30 cards. Gravity has been eliminated from war. Due to Absence, SpikeSpiegel has been Deposed and Jen-i is the new General of Time. Ugh what  a terrible terrible event card for death this round.... Instead of using 240/296 cards we now have to use 280/296. Haven't done the math but effectively that might force us to suicide or make absolutely horrible decks.

ETA: actually i guess not.Still hurts though. Bleh... was really hoping for a beneficial event card.

Team Gravity gets a BYE?

And expanding on MrBlonde's comment, this event card definitely favors the teams with the bigger Vaults this late in War.  They simply have more options available to build a solid deck with.  Aether, for example, will still have 158 cards leftover in their Vault unplayed this round.  The card just has a "rich get richer" feel to it.  This is definitely an early-round card if used again in the next War I think.

Team Gravity gets a BYE?

If there are uneven number of players fighting during a round, the team in last place (least amount of cards in the Vault) gets a bye, meaning that one player in that team will skip the round. If that team already had a bye during the previous round, the 2nd to last team gets a bye instead. No team may have a 2nd bye unless all other active teams have had at least 1 bye.

Ironically this is probably a negative for us since we don't know who we are facing next round now so we can't decide which 5 cards from the non-point decks to keep to help us build the strongest counter-deck possible lol
