Time's Up!

Vote for your favorite Council Member candidates. The poll runs for 7 days. Everyone has 12 votes. 18 members with the most votes, will form the 3rd Elements Council. You can change your vote at any time. Results will become visible after the poll closes.

I originally said we were going to have 12 Council Members, but decided to go with the previous 18 instead. We had even more applications than the last time, and it would be shame to not let more people help the community, by making the Council smaller. Looking at the two previous Councils, going from 12 to 18 didn't make a huge difference in terms of activity, but there was a difference, so I guess having 18 is therefore better. Even with 18 Council Members, more than half will be left out which kind of sucks, but what can you do.

New rule: From now, only Jr. Members (30+ posts) or above can vote in this forum section. This rule is to prevent random people joining the forums and voting randomly.

Voting tip #1: Instead of automatically voting for your chat buddy, vote for whoever you think would help the community the most. This means intelligent and mature people with initiative and motivation to do new things.

I'm majofa... you may know me as the Oracle deck guy, or the Relic farm guy. I'm active in nearly all parts of the forum. I do as much as I can, wherever I'm able. I won't say much here, because I believe actions speak louder than words.

Why vote for me when there are so many other good candidates?
Well I'm active, reliable and do what needs to be done. I've already shown this with my staff positions so far, and am willing to keep helping out the community anyway I can. So should you deem me worthy enough to remain council member, do vote for me. I'm not going to bother with a longer speech, since I consider deeds of more value than words.

Hey! I´m PlayerOa, a long-time Elements player and a middle-time forum member. I am active pretty much except when it´s school and when I´m sleeping.
I have long experience with forum administration and stuff, so you can depend on me in important discussions/votes.

I´m not saying that I´m one of the awesome veterans here at the community, but I am saying that I might be the fresh blood the community needs.

Higurashi - Not afraid to say what she thinks, and has the experience needed to make a proper decision.
Kael Hate - Active Warmaster, Curator, Global Moderator.
Kuroaitou - Best fricking thing to happen to the CIA forums.
Napalm Grenade - Active community member, and can speak her mind.
TheonlyrealBeef - Says what makes sense.
willng3 - WIlling to get into a debate and set aside his arguments properly, Council needs this..

New Council Members:
jmizzle7 - It's the freaking jmizzle, you nublettes!
Kamietsu - Oldschooler. Knows his way around the game, forums and community quite well.
RavingRabbid - Know how to think before speaking, next to being active and (usually) on the ball about things.
TheIdioticIdiot - More of a newcomer (to me), but activity in chat shows he knows what he's saying.
TimerClock14- Great curator, coder and overall badass. A vote against him is a vote for communism.


These are my votes, do with it as you please. I believe these 12 would make the perfect next Council.. I also believe there should be just 12 members for effectivity and task distribution, but that's just my view.

Seeing my name up there certainly was a surprise, given that I had never stated that I actually wanted to be a council member.
But, I'm not gonna deny that I want to see how the results show up, and I think I would do a good job in the council. Maybe not the best, but I would say I am in the top 18 up there. And yeah, I want to make sure that if there is every another sweepstakes type event, I'm not just the runner-up.



I haven't chosen all my votes yet, but personal favourites and everything come first - and I'm going to name 3 people out of a few that have been swimming through my mind that I am definetely voting for.

jmizzle7 - Self explanatory, he's a pro, a global mod, and people know him, so he probably doesn't need my help in securing any votes at all. But not just that, he's a nice guy, and possibly the (don't kill me Kael) most approachable GM. Plus, he saved me from the introductory guitar, and I remember his name from when I started and all the way through (whether or not he remembers mine), so it would be pretty impossible for me not to vote for him.

TheonlyrealBeef - He's been the TO for pretty much all the tournaments I've attended (I'm an eastern guy). That shows a lot of dedication, especially with all of us whining about the rules, spamming chat while he's trying to post brackets, coming just 2 minutes before it starts, then complaining when it's even a tiny bit off schedule. Again, you can talk to him pretty easily, he doesn't treat you as brashly as I would if I was doing all that, and...yeah, I have a lot of respect for him. Plus, darkness is doing pretty well so far this war.

Mithicarion - Personal experience is key for one of those 3 spots, and that sucks for some people because this guy got here first, and gave me one of the best early PvP experiences I have had, especially since I was on the "pro" side, so I could act like I knew what I was doing, having already participated in one tournament. I lost to him (of course), but somehow I remember these as great games (was a great tourney). Since them I've talked to him a few times, and he's one of the people who don't change when you are in a guest account.

And of course, lots of other people up there; but it felt fitting to put 3 people up here- who need the votes, or don't.
Of course I'm going to vote for more people, and some people just missed out on being up there (Really sorry guys), but at the moment, this is all I'm going to say.

I think it has been long enough that I should introduce myself to those that may not know enough about me....

I have been on forum staff longer than anyone else in this community, SG included. SG and I go all the way back to the original forums, and share a passion for this community and its well-being. I held the #1 score for over a year, and have contributed creatively to the game (Crusader, music). I am a well-known authority on game mechanics, advanced gameplay, and I authored the comprehensive newbie tutorial, Deckbuilding 101, which is updated periodically to keep up with game updates.

One more thing - I'm kind of a big deal. So vote for me.

Hi im DevilLoss im not knew or that old to the forums or chat for that matter. i know enough to or at least i think i do , to know what would help or hurt this community lately ive been getting more and more active in the forums then i used to before.
now on to reason why you should vote for me
1. i am a awsome friendly guy and i am in chat a bunch you need questions or if your being ignored I'm usally the one that will happen to see your question and answer it as best i can
2. i think I'm a pretty solid team member i helped my teamates in tpvp I'm the deckbuilder for team  in War3 (you know the one thats happening now) and bukodan
3. I'm starting to take on bigger responsiblities, example im running the awsome even made by kakerlake called dog pit and hopefully will try and become a pvp organizer so we can have even more epically awsome pvp events around the forum because pvp is the next frontier in elements
4. i would like to think im a decent pvper i did well in tpvp, got 2nd in the last two tournys i faced terro in the last western and before that in the last eastern uped one i faced my war teamate jen-i.
5. I now im awsome i just hope you all get to see it so Vote for me
