- Join the War Auction as a Slave, a Mercenary or a Loyalist
- Follow the instructions below and post your application
- Bidding starts when the clock goes to zero
- Team size will be 1 + 7
- Current War rules will be revised before the bidding starts

Join War as a Slave
Slaves can be bought by any element, therefore giving Slaves very little control over which team they join. Good news is that Slaves have a low starting price. Slave is the best choice for new forum members. If you want to join War as a Slave, please follow the instructions below.

2. Copy application code from this topic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13030.0.html).
3. Post your application in Slave Market (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,225.0.html).
4. Wait for bidding to start.

Join War as a Mercenary
Mercenaries can pick 3 elements that cannot bid on them. This gives Mercenaries some control over which team to join, but the downside is that Mercenaries have a slightly higher starting bid compared to Slaves. If you want to join War as a Mercenary, please follow the instructions below.

1. Read War Rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13006.0.html)
2. Copy application code from this topic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13038.0.html).
3. Post your application in Mercenary's Guild (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,224.0.html).
4. Wait for bidding to start.

Join War as a Loyalist
Loyalist can choose 3 elements that can bid on them (other 9 cannot). This gives the Loyalist much more control, but also a high starting price. Choose Loyalist only if you are almost certain that at least one General will bid high on you. If you want to join War as a Loyalist, please follow the instructions below.

You have 10 days to post an application.  Meaning, you can post an application any time during that time limit.

Either way, it came WAY faster then expected. I'm at a tie for which element I want to join for all 12 of them

Are the rules set for War3?
- Bidding extension?
- 24 card rule?
- teammember roles?
- etc etc.
Are the current topics under the War3 section official? Looks more like brainstorming to me.

this is my first time looking into war, i have like 10 upps and about  20 rares and have about 6000 score but when i look at everybody else they have alot more. am i too much of a newbie to be in a war or even going into it as a slave?

If you are new to the forums, no matter how good you are (or how good you think you are) you are unlikely to be drafted into a team. Sad but true. You can still make an application and see what happens, though.

Some generals might go for the buy-new-players-who-will-be-cheap strategy. And don't forget, there's always a shot at being on Team Underworld (you can't participate in the Underworld Tourney if you don't make an application).
