The other elements taunt us, call us weak fools, call us children fighting a man's war.  They say traditional wisdom requires retreat, that it would be prudent to cut our losses.  And the words they say may reflect the thoughts on your mind, because they bear a certain truth all of us would rather forget.

But do we listen?  Do we lie down and let them trample us?  Do we cry and run away?

I cannot force you to stand and fight.  I cannot ask you to war and die for something you do not care about and something you do not believe in.  But I will not ever look at you in the same light if you choose to run.  We are warriors!  Elementals, all of us!  We are not meant to be contempt, we were not born to be conquered.  We were born to fight; to win!  So I say you this:  There are those of you among us who would abandon our land because you believe we are weak, and I will not look upon you kindly when we run you to the ground.  We are TIRED of being the worst and the weakest.  We are TIRED of the mockery.  The age of fire is over, the age of ferocity has begun!

And so, to all of you, I ask this.  Will you fight for what you believe in?  Will you stand for those who no one stood for, who no one stood for ever before?  Or will you be cowards  and flee when the call to conflict is sounded?  We will win this war, either with you or without you.  I only hope you are beside me, and not below me, when I march into the Grandmaster's hall and take his crown as my own.

Life makes for great farmers, but they don't have any PC or CC.  They could do well or do terrible.  I don't expect they'll place somewhere in the middle.

I don't get why people say an element will do bad because it lacks something. The team isn't limited to that element, you know. They can easily take control cards.

Definately. Some elements do better as a duo (Air) but suck at mono; some elements, like fire and life, can be used as a mono, but if used as a duo, it can become more powerful. Pendulums have greatly encouraged duos/monos that work like duos, so this War should indeed be interesting.

the fire buckler is one of the only shields I fear; it can kill my immaterial guys 0_o
