The Card template can be used for displaying a card in various modes.

Image Only Mode
This mode displays the image of the card. Image works as a link to the card page. When you hover the image with the mouse name of the card is displayed.
Example:

Table Block Mode
This mode can be used to display card data in table cells. Shows data of the card in user-friendly format and provides link to the card page through the name and the image.
Usually not needed to use directly because you can use Card Pair template to display card pairs in a table.

Card Page Mode
This mode is for displaying the card in its article. Shows data of the card in user-friendly format and provides link to edit card data. When this mode is used the page will automatically categorized based on card data.
Now this wiki displays cards in pairs on their pages so use Card Pair template for this purpose.
Data Page Mode
This mode displays every defined data of the card in raw format. Provides links for editing data and to card page. This is the default mode in data pages.
