There are loyalty bonuses for past Trials and War participation (if team finished high enough), but now we also have this fine establishment called Guilds. Maybe the Commanders of the Guilds should also have a loyalty point for respective element ?

I really do not like this.  Guilds are a low-PvP only event and thus should be left out of the high-PvP Trials-War cycle.

I think Zso really got the point there.

War is a highly PvP-oriented event, while Trials is not only about PvP. Loyalty plays a big part in Trials (hence the bonus), and Guilds are pretty much all about loyalty.

If you are truly loyal to one element there is no way you will end up in other guild. For example I asked specifically to be placed in guild only.

^ That. Guild placement was random and no one really had complete control over it. You either got a lucky break or you didn't. Therefore, I don't think it would be appropriate to reward trial participants for having RNG on their side, for just HAPPENING to wind up on their favorite element's guild and just HAPPENING to also select that element as their trial of choice.

I also have to say that I'm not totally sold on loyalty bonuses. I suppose that yes, it is nice to reward those who have shown that they care about their respective element, but as first time participant, it kinda feels like higher ups kicking sand in my face.

Having said that, if this continues to be a thing, there should be other ways to earn loyalty points then just "hurr durr you participated in trials before". I realize that's paradoxical to what I just said about guilds, but I stand by it.

Off topic - I thought that it meant a max of 4.

On topic - It would be nice to have other ways to gain loyalty points, but there aren't many other ways.

So, trials is now PVP content only?
I realize that War is a high-PVP event, but the fact that masters are considered as nothing else but war generals now saddens me.
The title of the master feels hollow this way.

Another way to resolve the controversy I (inadvertently) started up about Guilds is to make the current Master of each element automatically the Commander of the corresponding Guild, which would add another purpose to the Master title apart from being the War-general.
