I can't play in this tournament, (lack of posts, lol)

But I was wondering if I could get a clarification on the rules? Is the idea that you get told what type of deck to build an hour before the tourney begins?
I do think that a player who is active and shows clear interest in taking part of a tournament should be excluded form the 15 post rule. I would rather think of it as a guideline  than an actual rule.

It makes sense, means people can't really join on a whim (As those who do often also leave on a whim)

And if someone really wanted to participate, 15 quality non-spam posts isn't a high barrier to entry.

Come on... you can make 7 posts around here today easily, I average only half of that a day and I've been inactive for long periods of time on the forum too :P

I made 30 posts that were not too obvious spam in one day back when that was still the minimum to enter a tournament... That's really not a problem.

And Acsabi, that is false. A rule is a rule. I would have thought that a certain incident in a certain tournament taught you what happens if you start to make exceptions.

Well, most of us did that in the past, that's why the rule was changed to 15 in hope that no one will try reviving annoying old threads :P . Will most probably b celebrating Munich's lost and miss this

The thought is well but many kong players could jump into chat and join then. SO 15 posts sounds fair maybe lower it to 10 thought.

15 posts really isn't hard.

1 post in your own introduction thread (potentially 2 or 3 if you respond to other people)
Potentially 1 post in deck help board
1 post in weekly tournament thread stating interest :P
1-3 posts in "what deck did you submit to bronze"
1-3 posts in joining other forum events (Guilds have rolling acceptance, accepting a duel, etc.)
1-3 posts in card ideas either with ideas or clarifications on existing card ideas
Remaining posts (2-10 posts) can come from the off topic discussions: politics, sports, movies, books, music, video games, humor, etc. Since only forum games doesn't increase post count.
