This event is #ing ridiculous, and will be a royal bitch to organize.  Seven matches to coordinate and build decks for, and we don't even have specific opponents yet.

Guess I'd better get started early on deckbuilding...

10 men, are we going to use our current team line-up or do you have something else in mind?

Are the player's positions determined already? TheManuz and I played the scouting round because we held positions 7 and 8, is that maintained? In that case, TM would face earth again and I'd face fire.

The order is not the same as in the team order thread, I have to send it to kevkev seperately. Pretty much the only thing this event does is that we get to decide where to use our 3/6 extra upgrades. And of course if someone has a preference to play against a certain team, we can arrange that, otherwise I will just distribute them randomly. Anyone have any preferences?

For 10 men and I, I see one of two possible strategies.  Either we should be placed against our predicted STRONGEST opponents (in this case, air/earth/entropy), to give us the best chance of beating them with more upgrades, and keeping them from getting too far ahead in vault count, or we should be both placed against our predicted WEAKEST opponents, to give us the best chance of potentially knocking them out of the War entirely.  (in this case Light, and then the rest are tied)

For everyone else, I don't see it particularly mattering where someone is assigned, unless they have a preference/skill for a certain playstyle or a lack in their personal card collection for the deck we want to use in a certain match.

Mhhh... it's more dramatic if we beat the weak ones first, and then we gain power to fight our strongest opponents!
But, strategically speaking, we'll have to face the strongest sooner or later... better face them with the best weapons (many upped cards) and well prepared for the match (we are expecting them now, who knows what the next event card will bring?)

tl;dr Bosses must fight bosses. Soldiers must fight soldiers.  >:(

You 2 should preferably go against our strongest opponents, unless your extra upgrades are absolutely needed in a deck against one of the other teams. Securing 2 wins against the weakest teams and potencially losing to the strongest ones only makes our hardest opponents stronger, which will eventually backfire for us if we really aim to win this war. Even if we end up loosing a couple of games to the weakest teams (and tbh, this early in war it's hard to say who is weak), it's important to weaken whenever possible the teams we think are the worst threat for us.
