Decks used to farm Platinum? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=29337.msg374101#msg374101

Im looking for advice and ideas as to what people use to beat Platinum arena decks?

Obviously I've found Zombie0's thread/deck, are there any other decks that are glorying in the wanton destruction of Platinums?

Zombie0 deck:

slightly changed that deck.  running 3 fire lances instead of gravity forces, one less phoenix, and added a single nightmare (which is either amazing or potentially dangerous to use, depending on opponent access to fire quantum)

some sessions ill get lots of 3 ringers, others frustrating losses.  i dont think my deck is more than 40-50% win, and theres a decent amount of 1hp gimme games in there

hate to say it, but you gotta find a deck you love to run and grind a lot of :electrum to support your testing.  theres no magic deck that beats 3x 2x 2x no matter what, and players are smart enough to tweak their top500 decks to adjust.

best of luck!
Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

A good deck is pestal. Due to firestalls, rushes and other annoying decks it has nearly 40-50% wins, but most of them are EM.

I am curious about using a Pestal deck (fractal Pests?) but I'm not up to speed with the latest updates, therefore I am not sure what is currently a good Pestal build?

Usually I just use my FG deck; it's fun to play, though it isn't really fully optimized for the arena.  I found that a voodoo deck actually works quite well, since most of the serious vulnerabilities that voodoo decks have aren't really used much in the arena.  I was using a 500EM stoneskin deck for awhile, but it's so boring that I gave it up.  It was pretty cool to win like 900 electrum a game, though.  (and not so cool to lose to 1hp decks because it had no sources of damage!)

I tried the pest deck above (except with unupgraded pendulums) and I wasn't really that impressed.  A lot of arena decks use quantum towers, and pest is pretty much useless when each tower provides 3 quanta instead of 1.  You have to overcome their upgraded mark as well.  I found the deck was just too slow to get going, and didn't deal enough damage or lock the opponent down fast enough.  I mean, there's a reason Decay is one of the weakest false gods... too many cards completely shut this deck down, like Sanc or pretty much any shield.  (though mind you that's what the steals are for :p)

I've tried supernova weenie decks like the one bluepriest posted, but I find that they're rather hit and miss.  Didn't get a supernova or three in your opening hand?  Game over.  Cremation/destroyers has a similar issue, but I've found that deck to be more reliable, and while it doesn't win a lot, it plays very fast games.

So yeah, I'd recommend either Cremation/destroyer (for speedy games), rainbow control deck (for more wins, particularly EMs, and more fun) or voodoo (for winning more games, but virtually no EMs).  Rainbow gets me the most EMs (and therefore most score of the three), and voodoo gets me the most rare spins, but low score/electrum per win, since you'll take a lot of damage before getting the pulled doll out and ready.  Cremation is best for taking advantage of those old 1hp decks, and is also the simplest and easiest to play, making it good for n00bs as well as people who are only half paying attention to the game (maybe they are also watching TV or at work or something)

Ive tried a Cremation/Destroyer like ZombieO, however I found it unsatisfactory/unsatisfying...
I'd like to try a fuller rainbow control deck... any suggestions?
Yup I have a fully upped Voodoo (modded) and its a lotta fun in FG and arena!

PS. I've been trying out a 'Ive GotP Time' deck... but until Ive saved enough electrum to up ALL those pillars I wont take it in the arena.  It will be interesting once its complete tho...

Could you please let me see that deck?

Ahh ok thanks!  I think I ran an extra Grav Pull.  But anyway, I tried this out yesterday on Gold and Platinum and it was frustrating because I ran into a bunch of stall decks with SoG, and even a couple creature-less decks, like mono- :fire with Fahrenheit as the only damage source.  And with most decks ~200hp, voodoo just couldn't do the job.
