I voted for King of the Hill. My reasons being:
- Interesting structure
- Most likely affordable amount of upgrades for a newbie
- Element selection is always nice, but might want to limit that in some way
- Locked cards can potentially make for interesting decks and strategies.
- You are given choices to make: what elements to choose, who to fight and at what point to stop or restart
- Random suggestion: you might want to limit element selection in some way (so we won't see the same, most powerful elements by everyone)

There are two things I would like to see:
1, A team event
There is no war or brawl going on at the moment. This seems to me the perfect time to start a team event. Something like Falling Empire was or Three man pvp. You need relatively small teams so that people can work together properly. Though Booster Draft is/was a team event as far as I understand. Never followed it.
2, Well-developed themes or stories for events
There are some events that look like they are just a bunch of rules thrown together. While all events eventually come down to this, there needs to be something that actually catches people's attention and draws them in. I know it does not matter for most of the PvP veterans around here but it might do for others, especially newer people.
Apart from possible higher participation and more hype, stories can also serve as a source motivation, especially if maintained properly. If there is something to fight for (aside from winning the event) people might enjoy the struggle more and thus be willing to spend more effort on the event and have more fun. Once again I must bring up Falling Empire as an example. I think it was really done well in this regard.
