Fire / Re: Die Phoenix, DIE!

Phoenixes(right plural?)
(and sorry for my bad english)
I think phoenix plural is phoenices (like matrix --> matrices, dominatrix --> dominatrices).

But in English, you can use phoenixes since it's a bastard language anyway.  ;D
Agreed.. freaking English. I say we all go back to latin!

Religion / Re: IQ vs. Religiosity
« on: May 03, 2010, 11:27:53 pm »
First off I think this graph could be very easily skewed to one side or the other. It would be nearly impossible to do a unbiased showing of religiosity Vs. IQ
Second, what does IQ actually measure (This is a question)? From what I know about it, it only measures certain aspects, or subject. That's another easy way to vastly skew this.
Third, I'm extremely religious in the sense of I try to put my life the way it should be lived according to the Christian faith, and I'm planning (not really planning, but know) that I'm going to be a environmental/animal rights lobbyist.

If you don't know becoming a lobbyist requires one to be extremely involved in the high-end "elite" politics.
My IQ is off of the charts, especially for my age. I'm battling it out with my friend for 1 and 2 in my class, have all advanced classes. I read college level books by about 5 or 6 grade. And several academic accomplishments that almost no one can claim.

This was is no way to brag, but to just show that just because one devotes their life to the Christian faith, DOES NOT mean they can be considered hampered in their IQ WHATSOEVER!

Religion / Re: Christian music vs. Mainstream media
« on: May 03, 2010, 05:48:56 am »
I don't think the majority of Christian artists are trying to become "cool" or "popular" at all. If they wanted to they could just as easily go for secular music. I think the main reason that Christian artists become what they are is because they seek to honor the Christian God through every aspect of their life. So, does it matter if they are main stream, popular, or cool? I don't think so, and I don't think they care (remember im talking about the majority, not all of the artists). They just love doing it because they love their God.

Politics / Re: communism. is it really so evil?
« on: May 01, 2010, 06:46:52 am »
Is Communism really so evil? Well this is a difficult question. What comes to the majority of minds when someone mentions that nasty word that is "communism": Cold war, Russia, China, Nazi Germany (even though it was ANTI-COMMUNIST), Mussolini's Italy (which was also anti-Communist). Anyways with all of these things we remember the atrocious events that happened such as the proxy wars, and nuclear weapons of the Cold War, Stalin and Linen murdering millions of people, Russians and others alike, the famous "tanks crushing" of the pro-democracy students in 1889, Of course Hitler and the Holocaust, and Mussolini's famous propaganda that out spun Hitlers.

If we look at Communism the original root form of it was constant revolution, and change in the powers, so that no one has complete control over anything what so ever. A break down of classes for full equality, and equal participation in political affairs from every class, and belief. Now is that what we think of when we think of Communism? Nope, I don't believe it is!

Now for the other point. America. What we (America) do is try to isolate, and snuff out communism. Even if its working perfectly well  for them, and try to replace it with our glorious republic. (America is NOT a democracy, we base our government system based off of representatives modeled after Rome, Democracy is complete voting on everything by everyone which Athens started.) So by America going in and changing it, we create the idea that its something wrong, when really its just different than what the West is used to.

So is Communism evil? No. Now the communism instated by Stalin, and Lenin is very much soevil, but in reality its NOT communism its purely a dictatorship based off of military and terror.

That's my to cents on it!

Fire / Re: All Offense Fire PvP+Top50

For the shrieker Situation you can add a RoF if you think its necessary, or a fire shield or two, I run a 32 card PvP deck, and have a almost flawless victory score.

Definitely the  :entropy ones, with that horrible discord, otys, AND Maxwells. Which destroys my fire deck!

Archived Decks / Re: New Fire Deck Please Comment!

Here are my two cents on it:
1. What are the Brimstone Eaters for? You already have tons of quantum generation.
2. In my personal deck I would definitely not have so many RoF/Firebolts. I would have 3/4 respectively.
3. Phoenix's  to play first is a really nice strategy!
4. For my personal taste I would add a Fahrenheit just because it doubles your chance to do tons of damage.
5. Over all a really fun, solid looking deck!

Fire / Starting With PvP From the Beginning

Starting With PvP From the Beginning
First:
We are going to want to pick a element that has good CC (Creature Control), Defensive Cards, Offensive Cards, and Utility Cards. I chose fire because, it matches those specifications almost spot on. The beginning deck is pretty horrible, and not worth but possibly the level 0 computer (but we are better than that, aren't we?)
This is the beginning deck:
Spoiler for Hidden:

You will want to take out and sell:
  • 3X Sapphire Pillar
  • 1X Freeze
  • 1X Blue Crawler
  • 1X Purify
  • 3X Immolation
  • 1X Ash Eater
After you remove those cards from your deck, and they are sold we need to purchase 4 Burning Pillars, and 2 Crimson Dragons from the Bazaar, and place them in our deck. Now take out the 3 Quantum Pillars, (but don't sell these in case you want to make a 'rainbow' deck in the future) and 3 Ash Eaters, and then of course sell them!
Now click on 'Quest' and complete the first quest (which is to battle a level 0 computer). After this is completed turn in the first THREE quests (the second and third were to buy and sell from the bazaar).
Now that you have some more Electrum (money) buy 1 Crimson Dragon and place it in your deck, replacing a Fire Spirit (which you sell to the Bazaar), leaving you with a total of 4 dragons! Now buy 2 Deflagrations, and replace it with the last remaining Fire Spirit and dagger, which you sell of course!

Congrats! You now have a simple and basic fire/PvP deck!

So now that you have this finish up the next two quests and buy a single Crimson Dragon and put it in the place of a Deflagration (but don't sell it, you might want to  use it in the future tweaking the deck for your own playstyle) until you come to the 500 point quest. This is where PvP comes in!

Strategy isn't too difficult, but of course changes every fight, so im going to do a strategy for each card, and when you can use them.

Fire Pillar: Of course play that as much as possible and immediately
Crimson Dragon: This is your main damage dealer. It is very frail, so sometimes only expect  it to last a sing turn. So play wise, and careful. You will learn appropriate times through experience, but most of the time you play it immediately
Fire Bolt This is the card that will win you tons of games, only play it when you have tons of quantums and can destroy your opponents  HP, or killing a really dangerous creature. This is so useful when your opponent has tons of CC and you have no dragons left, wait till you have enough quantums and take 'em out. The Wiki damage comes in tons of use in close games http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Element_damage
Fire Shield This is one of your two CC cards, it works wonders on small, and powerful creatures (such as crimson dragons, or shrieker decks (another rush deck)) Play it often, but if your opponent might be able to steal it, make sure you have a deflagration in your hand to take it out. It will destroy this deck.
Deflagration This is your permanent control card. Use it to take out nasty weapons, or shields. Sometimes you want to use it to take pillars out, but only on VERY rare occasions. Learn your opponents deck through experience, and you will learn the right times to destroy what.
Rain of Fire Your main CC card. use it when there are several small or semi-small creatures on the deck to take them out, or to get them lower for your fire shield to finish them off.

Once you reach, and complete the 500 point quest now is the time to decide what to do. Having tons of fun PvP'ing? Pick Fahrenheit. If not look at Plastiqe's really good thread. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3522.0.html

Want to continue to PvP? Well once you have a few thousand electrum now is the time to upgrade cards.
First you want to upgrade your towers. that is very essential. After a few are upgraded, you can take a few normal pillars out and put more defensive/CC cards in there. After the pillars are upgraded, you are on your own. By now you have good experience with this deck, and know what cards  you need to upgrade to match your play style.

Id like to give credit to Plastiqe's other post http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,989.0.html for the deck. I didn't see it until I was ready to submit this.

My un-upped deck for PvP is: I have a aprox. 80-95% win rate. I don't lose, except to quantum killing decks, or one able to CC my dragons and heal fast.

Like I said this deck is just a general layout. Change it a little, to fit you better. And as always have fun. If youve played several hundred PvP games, and  just downright hate it. Do something else! I didn't progress through PvP for more money (although I'm convinced that I did earn more money through more card spins and more electrum per round. that I would have just grinding AI 3's), I did it because I thought it was so much more fun and interesting than just grinding to to several thousand electrum, get a FG deck and start grinding those. Its a game, have fun!
