Yesterday Ge0metry v1.2 suggested furballdn to use SPlat against the new Osiris. Guess which FG the Oracle had in mind for me today ...

And it worked. I used the following deck because I'm still a very poor newbie:

Deck import code : [Select]
4t6 4t6 4t6 4td 4td 4td 4td 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 6rt 6rt 74a 74a 74a 74a 74a 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 8ps

Won the coin toss, got out a scorpion with Momentum on my second turn and managed to let the poison counter raise to ~30. Osiris's advantage is that his damage is very predictable and he won't use his Catapults in early play. After I had my SoSac out, he began to catapult some Scarabs and a Pharaoh to reduce the damage output per turn but didn't stop the production of new Scarabs. Easy win, I would recommend SPlat (with a lucky enough draw) as a temporary alternative to the outdated decks which abuse the lack of PC before 1.30.

Won a Time Tower and an upgraded Shard of Focus this time. Did Osiris approve my deck choice?

Hated Osiris so much... Went into False God battle with Instosis, ended up meeting him with 2 Shard of Focus out . The battle ended with two thrown Pharoahs to the face after 4 Catapulted SoFs... GG
Since he got shards, I have yet to have a match against Osiris in which he did not have 3 in play by turn 5.

Is there deck that can fight Osiris beside SPlat?

(I don't have any SoSac)

Edit:

This deck worked thanks to first turn Electrocutor (he got SoF on his second turn), but it should work unupped too if he don't get SoF too fast and you have some Lobotomizers.

[snip]
Works like a charm--even with early SoF out still EM.  Time tower out turn 1, got neurotoxin going turn 2.  Never played another permanent for SoF could only watch the game unfold.  AI still needs work: Osiris adds momentum to SoF, then chose to catapult it once SoSa was in effect.

Anyway, at least he gave up 2 SoF for me on spins :P

Since my alt doesn't have enough SoSa's, I threw together something that actually worked. The two EA's weren't needed the first game but would've saved me the second. It's nowhere near consistent though, just something I use to have at least some chance. It needs the Flayer out before SoFo's and Pharaoh's, Pulvy out not too late so Eternity doesn't screw you up, Gravity Shield and SoG's before it dies. Bleh, Osiris.
