This show makes kids dumb or at the very least teaches them how to get hurt and/or kidnapped. Otherwise, funny show for adults.

I actually like some jokes in my childhood's cartoons. Mostly since I couldn't understand them back then, which is quite ironic because they should be fun for kids, ain't them?
Anyways, Spongebob is one of my favs. I tend to see it as the child's "Simpsons", mostly because in the last seasons many people criticized them for being too wtf/stupid and stopped to watch them, and also because they are both yellow and stupid... and I like stupidity/wtf things.
Yeah, it's quite easy to make me laugh.

Sometimes Spongebob has very catchy or clever jokes but, unfortunately, most of the time it is just "lame". You have to watch a whole episode of crappy jokes for a moment of a very successful one.

i completely disagree with this-Spongebob is one of the most retarded cartoons that was made. Plus it's not even funny at all and i love comedy or Humorous shows. Should have never been aired -.-

Well, its true. I guess the larger the franchise, the more money minded they become. I think it is because they have a deadline, and so they don't have the time to create jokes as funny as they used to be. Furthermore, spongebob over the years is gradually targeting a younger age group, so who knows? Maybe it may be for toddlers one day.
