Rainbow Decks / Re: Hourglass 1 and only!! (voodoo deck)
« on: May 23, 2011, 08:49:57 am »
100 games (using 2 Voodoo Doll & 1 Nightmare):
48 wins, 49 losses, 3 skips (Decay is totally impossible), 4 EMs

Average turn to win: 10,5
Average turn to lose: 8,8

Time (win) 03:06:40 | Average time on games won: 233 sec
Time (loss) 02:36:27 | Average time on games lost: 204 sec (non-skipped)
Time (skip) 00:01:09 | Average time on games skipped: 23 sec
These times are bit slow due to my lagging laptop. If you have better hardware, you can get much faster times!

All in all, really REALLY good deck for grinding FGs!

Yes indeed ... not very far from release I think.  ;)

Zse, if you want to start collecting data right away, the best way would be to just open the Excel-file in openoffice
and begin with the the data-input as it is intended ...
Most of your stats won't be displayed (properly) but the formatting of the input data is already correct.
When the proper openoffice-version is out, all you have to do is copy-paste the columns over to the actual
document and all will be fine.

Only drawback: The warning-columns won't work, so you would have to pay a lot of attention not to forget
about any electrum- or time-values.
OK, I'll do that.
... Voodoo Panic (modded) by linkfung modded by bucky1andonly/zse. My contribution was only changing 1 card, so I personally feel that I haven't done enough for being mentioned as one of the modders of that deck modification.
-Seeing as the voodoo panic he posted was only 4 cards different than the original, I have no problem crediting the both of you with modding it.
Actually bucky1andonly made 8 card changes:
-5 un-upped Sundial
-1 Arsenic
-1 Gravity Force
-1 Aether Tower

+6 upped Sundial
+1 Supernova
+1 Hourglass

Usually using un-upped or upped version of a card has only small difference, but Sundials work very differently in mulligan, and that was the main reason why the original used the un-upped versions. At least that's how I understand the whole situation.

I don't have MS-Excel now, but I've started to collect data for Voodoo Panic (modded) by linkfung modded by bucky1andonly/zse. My contribution was only changing 1 card, so I personally feel that I haven't done enough for being mentioned as one of the modders of that deck modification.

AW = Animate Weapon

Take out SoD for Purify. Great tech against Scorpio, Elidnis & Serket (and Osiris if you use Spine Carapace and it uses Trebuchet).

Aflatoxin,
Plague,
Fractal Vulture,
Weeeee!!!

It's rubbish because it's stupidly difficult to execute, at least in any deck I've ever made. But it is fun!
Fractal * Retrovirus +
Soulcatcher +
Fractal * Vulture - or - Bone Dragon
= Profit

It's actually real anti-FG deck. See Retro-Fractal by Flash fire (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19550.0.html)

sad truth of it all.
Why do you need the steals?
I would suggest using another antimatter and another eternity + AW (Eternities have been key stall cards for Eternal Crusader, Eternal Chaos by Snoweb zse and DSKFG by Bucky1andOnly
^ Fixed.

I now tested this for some dozen games, and I actually liked the steals here. Often I used those to take Eternity, Hourglass, Vampire Dagger, Feral Bond, Graveyard and whatnot: either stall FG or getting some additional healing.

I believe I got >50% win rate, but I didn't count games, sorry. The games that I ended up winning lasted usually some 8 mins (450-500 sec), and every time I lost, it was due to not getting enough quanta - many times I was also forced to discard cards for many rounds due to that. 15 Quantum Towers just don't seem to be enough for ~60 card decks.

All in all this deck seems to be OK like it is now. With some tweaking for better quantum-balance this deck could become really good.

Eternal Chaos by SnoWeb should be
ESco (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11715) (modded (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20173.0.html)) by zse, modded by SnoWeb, Zeru and Vagman13

Now fixed, thanks. :)
