Deck Help / Re: Need a false god deck
« on: July 12, 2010, 09:02:37 am »
Firstly, i'd advice you to grind T50 first because its the best place for electrum/score/rares
you can use just about any deck but farming t50 means speed so any speed rainbow based on nova/supernova should be good. this is how i transitioned from starter to FG grinder...

i choose  :darkness and went with with mono vamp rush to grind L3
Code: [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5um 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5up 5up 5uq 5ur 5us 5us 5us 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut
then i went on to make devo/frac rush (http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Devourer/Vampire_Army_Rush) :-
Code: [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ur 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 622 622 622 622
then i check T50 subforum for deck ideas and got a few that work wonderfully

pillarless top50 farm (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6298.0.html) :-
Code: [Select]
4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 5c1 5f2 5f2 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5i5 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5og 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rryou can use vampire dagger/stilt instead of arsenic here

Vreely's No Upgrade Fire Rush T50 Killer (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3882.0.html) :-
Code: [Select]
4t5 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9
below is what i'm using right now, its a SpeedBow variant and its blistering fast
Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u1 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 713 713 745 74a 77g 77g 7ae 7ah 7dq 7gv 7n8 7n8 7qb 7qb 7qb 7t9 80a 80g
for cheap FG grinder, the cheapest is probably Fire Lance sudden killer (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6758.0.html) :-
Code: [Select]
4vj 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f7 5f7 5lg 6rn 6rn 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 808 808 808 808 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80drequiring just 2 Shard of Gratitude (which you can replace with 2 pillars if you dont have them) and the rest work find unupped. Fahrenheit can also be replaced with pillars if you cant farm them from t50 but having them is great for added damage.

the popular RoL/Hope combo deck is the next cheapest, needing only 6 upgrade, RoL themselves to work and percentage wise it fared almost as good as a traditional rainbow control FG grinder
Fractal RoL/Hope :-
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5026.0.html
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6546.0.html
Code: [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 7jq 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 80e 80i 80i 80i 80i 80i 80i
and then you have a varied non-rainbow FG grinder which work fine but not as good as above like nymphomania, fractal/pest (upgradded version of the above), winged spiders, pandemonium.dec etc

This deck was posted before the 1.32 game update and as a result may work very differently now.  Use at your own risk.

Disclaimer: This is a fun deck intended for fighting Halfblood/L5 only.
This is the ultimate deckout deck, as simple as that. Most of the time you will win with EM at 520HP.
Below is a breakdown of electrum/score won on each level (I'd appreciate it if anyone can fill the 'n/a' part) :-
Level+Electrum+Score
Level 021
Level 14226
Level 26241
Level 312477
Top50228n/a
Halfblood280*170
False God330n/a
Admittedly the game tend to go far longer than usual since your goal is to deckout the opponent. But since each 520hp EM winning on Halfblood gives 290 electrum and ~170 score, more often than not, you gain more electrum/score than you would fighting Halfblood and winning with another, faster deck up to 3 matches (1 EM game vs HB = 80 electrum, 3 x 80 = 240 electrum). But as stated above, this is just a fun deck you can take for a spin once a while. It is not intended as a Halfblood farming tool.

The only essential upgrade for this deck are the shards. Everything else work just as well unupped. Thorn Carapace is left unupped on purpose. You can upgrade or replace them with Fire Buckler / Fire Shield instead. Each have their pros and cons but any other shield wouldn't work for this type of deck.

This is not intended for fighting False Gods. On paper, it would seem like False Gods are the best for this strategy due to additional draw bonus they get but they tend to rush you too fast before you set up the massive heals. It can be tweaked to achieve a good winning rate against FGs, trust me, I've tried but I have not reach that...yet.

This is not intended for fighting PvP either. You can certainly try but there are tons of speedbow variant and those decks just dominate this deck in under 7 turns.

General Discussion / Re: Rare Card?

He asked why it is a rare because it drains all  :light quanta. Meanwhile, Fractal does the same with  :aether quanta. THAT IS NOT why the Miracle is Rare. We all Explained, and he just refused to listen. Sorry, but thats what is known as a Repeating Radio Troll or Broken Radio, Troll. A One way conversation just to annoy people.
@Malduk: If you really have been following the thread from the beginning, you too will come to the same conclusion. The original poster only wants assurance that his whining about the 'state' of this game nowadays is as bad as he make it to be by using Miracle and Fractal as comparison. Seriously, hes nothing but a troll or as theunamed put it, a broken troll because many have already dismiss his 'whinage' but he keeps repeating the same thing while ignoring what has been said about the subject. He has NO proof Miracle was made a rare due to 'drain all remaining :light quanta' effect but he keeps pounding that for comparison with Fractal. That is just silly, don't you agree?

False Gods / Re: Are false gods male or female?
« on: July 03, 2010, 06:18:01 am »
Rainbow is definitely a female. below is an excerpt from an unfinished FG strategy tips for a rainbow variant i'm using to prove my point

Hermes
You need a lot of things going your way to deal with him. You need an early quinted oty and hope he doesn't get an armored golem by the second turn which happens frequently enough trust me. He will explode everything you put down that isnt protected and even if you manage to get him down he will start bolting you to death.
Yep, hes got a lot of issues.

Rainbow
You need a lot of things going your way to deal with her. But, whats worse than Hermes is that she can regain her HP with Miracles. Not only that, even if you manage to win the long, drawn out fight, more than likely you wont win anything at the spin because she has too many stuff in her deck.
And you wondered why Hermes is so angry all the time...

General Discussion / Re: Rare Card?
« on: July 01, 2010, 07:11:02 am »
Honestly don't even go there with your argument. Miracle was unique because of its self quanta draining side effect NOT because of it's healing ability. If you honestly use that as your main argument then Firefly Queen should be rare because it is the only card which produces fireflies :S
i try to stay away from overheated arguments like this (due to the nature of this particular forum) but what kind of proof do you have to substantiate your claim as to the reason behind miracles' rarity? did you read anywhere zanz saying miracle was made rare precisely because it drain all your quanta as part of the spell's effect?

"Honestly don't even go there..." et tu

Quote from: mogv
It's just the lack of constistency in elements that pisses me off sometimes. Lot of wording flaws, unexplained abilities etc... And now we have Miracle which is a rare. Sure I don't mind it being a rare as long as there is something to back it up. Simply saying it was the only unique card (in the sense that it drains your own quanta) at the time just wont cut it. Times have changed...
again you're seeing just a facet of miracle uniqueness which you based your argument on. i was not here in the early days, not when miracle came out at least so i do not know for sure if the "drain all your remaining  :light quanta" clause was tacked on before or after testing (fractal got it after testing, and i'm certain that it was based on miracle) but i'm sure miracle effect is enough to make it a rare.
sure, both create huge effects, the 'not lose next turn because i'm back to max life -1' and 'from 100 to 0 hp in 10sec, you're dead, boom' but fractal makea you jump through hoops (available-target/shield/sundial/cards-in-hand/quanta-available) but miracle only need you casting it to get full advantage of going back to max hp -1, doesnt matter if you're at 10 hp or 1 hp, theres no other condition to miracle happening apart from having 15 | 12 :light to cast it
if you cant see just how powerful that effect is, either you're just too thick or you're just being a whiner and needing some attention
