Yes, they really do have 14 Antimatters in their vault and they didn't use a single one the previous round.

Salvaing in the darkness deck, if we take fractal and change the salvage in the immo rush to save 2-3 gnomes, then we have the possibility to run 2x whole world. could be pretty valuable
If we took some Light Pends from the Water deck would we be able to run some of those along with some Stone Pillars in The Immortal, or would that set off quanta balance too much? It would help with our Pend issue as well as provide for some quanta diversity for the future

To kirchj: I suggest posting in the thread "
will be choosing all betrayal this round. As such, your only logical action is clearly to choose honor, so you get less discard when you inevitably lose. That is all".
I would say Betray on all, Tbh we dont really gain much from salvaging more as most decks are based off card that dont work with earth. and it would deal more damage when we win. and we plan on winning more than we lose. their loss is > than our gain.

This is pretty much a guarenteed loss vs. their UG/wings/dims stall... Would have to either stall them or run a pulvy bow to beat that. That being said, I don't think we will see it because of SS/pulvy threat, but we might see some rush + wings + spiders.

So thus far after hard countering people, they have changed styles the following round. I think we could stand to gain ground by staring them straight in the face of what they played us with last round. War 3 Deathstall tested well vs. entropy all along, I'm not scared to lose that deck and it was brought pretty much to function as mainly an entropy counter. If not now, then when?
Avenger vs. Gen. Majofa (Light)
I think a good in depth analysis of their vault at this point could result in a win for us. Although I wouldn't discount some trick up their sleeve.
defintely agreed with above statement we really have to look at their salavage and winning decks the last few rounds to make a decision.
They brought a ton of deflags as well as won with 2 decks with either titans or deflags. I would not use dims this round.
Possible decks to test titansaders, angel lightning, dim fractal angels, and the rage angels zeru played.

I havent looked into it yet but how does a whole world style deckout sound? 6 SS 6 Dims no dragons sounds aweful, only because I hate deckerslol ok point taken I just feel it is going to be hard to beat adrenastaves without rewinds, which uses up our graboids. and

Yikes. Other than scary matches vs. Water/Air/Entropy, this one might be the one I am most worried about. I (RNG) steered you wrong in round 4, I will likely leave this one up to Sevs to do some advanced analysis and dedicate himself to beating death's vault.
I was thinking some sort of wings rush. They have poison and dragons but i think they will opt for someting immortal proof. EQ something or fractal drags

I think with the resources in the vault we have 3 choices
Grabbow straight rush with a few momentums, will have trouble against their grabbow
A grabbow with wings whether off the mark
A fire based grabbow with CC and minor phoenixs and deflags
The last 2 could also be made duos but would be much more vulnerable to EQ's and their rush.

Common PvP sense says they will run their rainbow vs. Darkness, but they haven't really followed common PvP sense thus far in war, hence the last place record.

Using this would put us at -25 Earth Pends for the round, way too much to be converted with two decks still to come. I will start working on something else.
I wouldn't be suprised to see some hard counter from them at this point. Their attempts to bring weak counters have failed.
I believe running a pulvybow might be a mistake this round, but I will have to see how one with 2x cloaks does in testing. I'm still scared of their fire duo and GnG (with our without quakes)
I think the key is to not overthink it at this point they are going to have to use some unlikely decks from the salvages because their original strong decks are starting to get depleted. Make a few potential decks and test against those as well along with some of their stronger decks
Gng, mini IGT, fire duo, grabbow, momo. The others were all made as counters to certain decks they expected in round 1 and i dont see them using something similar against us.
My 2 cents, I think they might abandon the control understandong we bring puvy or 4 cards of PC every round against them, I have a feeling they go for a pc-less deck outrushing us. - grabbow, fire duo, gng.
Having looked back at who they run that fire duo against, in Round 3 they brought it against Aether (known for Dim Shields and Arsenic via Bonebolt) and Gravity in Round 4(who abused them the previous round with Pulvies the same way we did). Considering that we're the only other team to show the ability/propensity to use massive PC on them, the Fire Duo is very, very likely for us to face this round. I modded our firestall to be able to deal with it (-2 SS, +2 PA) and a PA'd Diamond Shield is essentially GG vs. that deck. I know our vault is strained for Pends right now, but I'm putting it through it's testing paces anyhow.
Event Card:
Teams must secretly choose one of the following Event Cards for each player (i.e. several players could choose one card and others can choose the second) and PM their choices to Warmasters. All choices will be made public when the Battle Phase begins.
Choices:
Honor or Betrayal
If...
Both players choose honor, 6 salvage and 24 discard
Both players betray, 0 salvage and 30 discard
The honorable player defeats the betrayer, 3 salvage and 21 discard
The betrayer defeats the honorable player, 9 salvage and 27 discard
Math-wise, there is no advantage to choosing either way.
Assuming an opposing team knows that we play betrayal, their logical play to maximize their vault is to choose honor, which helps us. Unless they decide to screw us over and choose betrayal.
This works te other way around too, if we know a team is playing betrayal then our only logical play is honor, unless we want to sacrifice our salvage to add to their discard, which seems dumb.
If we expect a win, then honor is better IMO, 3+6>0+9, we don't have the need to risk anything being in 2nd.
However if we expect a loss, betrayal is probably better. 27 and 30 are basicaly the same thing in terms of discard: we lose the deck either way. however 21 discard might be low enough to save the deck, while 24 is unlikely to hold the deck. 21+30>24+27 if we call 27 and 30 basically the same thing.

We must go hard cc from here on out. unless we pair it with Gravioty shield We have plenty of lightning and rage pots we should use then after all mono entropy has every creature with 5HP
2 deck choices for next round,
1: Earth gravity if we have the cards BB + gravioty shield + pulvy + BH They use too many rainbows to not try
2: Something with 6 lightning whether mono earth with lightnings off the mark or lightnign grabboids.
Time
I like the idea of using cloaks and steals next round. we have to watch that fire duo but testing is in order
Air
If we dont use the gravity duo in the entropy matchup we should use it here just without BH's
UW
Bring the BH's I think it is safe to say they wont be using too many monos

Against these EQ seems good... but it is a general which enables wild quanta base... (and all war they have been doing WILD splits)
They have seen our PU dragons and Firestall. I like our firestall against them but they threaten heals and jade shield (not for sure.. but it would be bad). They have only 1 known deflag (I assume there would be more than 1 in their stall if they had more than one). So a perm heavy deck is likely safe, like PU gons. Since PUGons is not vulnerable to a hard counter (jade + heals) I like it better.

Their other matches are darkness and death. In our testing Firestall is often a good option againt darkness (except devtal... which is a really good play by darkness against a team that is probably out of novas), and they play against dark's general. This is the likely suicide target if they have to.
The adrenastaves deck seems good for them to use against death... but adrenaline is a double edge sword of tearing down bonewalls and dying really fast to plague. The firestall is also effective here as it has some heals to counter poison, can run a -2 shield to block unupped arsen, and has the potential to deck a rush or OTK a stall.
