So, this was just plain stupid.
I basically have 4 dead cards in my deck (dragons and mitosis), 2 redundant cards (shields and weapon), SEVENTEEN quanta sources and TEN control cards.

GAME 1: She gets her Morning Star out fast and I start to die slowly. Burned all her creatures, got one Heal, bolted her for the win. I end the game with 1 hp, but I made a slight mistake in not raging the Pegasus immediately, so I would have had 7 instead.
GAME 2: She gets her Morning Star and TWO Archangels out quick. I get a good quanta draw (7 cards!) and can bolt all the angels to death quite fast. I topdeck Heal and I get the time for the Fahrenheit and my dragons to kill her. Her Haxx Shield fails a bit (6/7 attacks land).
GAME 3: She gets a low quanta draw, I get a low quanta draw. I fail to get quanta sources out fast enough, I can't bolt her creatures fast enough, I die. Two Angels and a Morning Star on her side, plus the Blessings don't help. No Heal in the whole match, either.
GAME 4: Fast Morning Star, fast Angel, low quanta, no Heal, no Fahrenheit. Fail draw. I was begging for a Heal the last four turns, if I had drawn one I would have had a chance, with two I'd have been more than good.
GAME 5: Low quanta but third turn Fahrenheit (finally!) and I draw 4 bolts really soon. She gets a very fast Morning Star, a HUGE Pegasus out while I'm low on quanta, but that's it. I wait two turns to gather the necessary quanta (that's 48 damages!) and Bolt it to death. Then I wait for a second Bolt while her Morning Star kills me. No Heal in sight here either, and I start to sweat. When I'm down to 12 hp and she has two cards in hand (blessings) I'm praying. She doesn't draw a creature, I draw a Bolt. Very close win.

I hate to say this, but F U RNG. And damn you team for using firestall

Round 1 - Loss
Honestly I was being stupid here. Saved all my creatures and thought of playing all of them once for massive damage. My early Glory helped me in that cause too... However I was stupid enough to not realize that you can actually use Firebolts on creatures.

Somehow despite that fact I got him down to 1HP. I had to draw ONE creature, but instead drew all my 12 pillars. Then morm used bolt/fahrenheit combo to kill.


Round 2 - Loss
Bad draws, bad luck. Easy loss

Round 3 - Win
I came with the goal to make a 0-2 to 3-2 comeback just like I did in Trial of Gravity #3. (Funny thing is, my opponent was majofa, my war master )

I had good opening hand/draws which made me win easily.


Round 4 - Win
2 pillar 1 pend start and creatures came out really slowly. I played pegasi as soon as possible to draw out his firepower, but saw him accumulating tons of quanta. I felt like forfeiting, but that would've been a stupid idea because I managed to save a pegasus and use 3 blessings for massive 24 damage.

Round 5 - PATHETIC LOSS
Seemed almost like a repeat of round 1. Decent hand, decent draw. morm made some mistake of using too many firebolts on my creatures, but he had a relatively early fahrenheit that also dealt damage. My glory soon brought him down to around 30 hp, at which point I had two blessings in my hand. A single creature would give me an epic win. It sucked for morm as well cuz apparently he didn't have any bolts...

But then, RNG decided to troll on me. 4 consecutive pillar draws, and when morm had 6 HP left for the final blow from Glory, RNG gave him a final firebolt to finish me off. FFS.


I'm surprised I got up to 3-2 against firestall using this deck, even a damn good possibility to win. But no. RNG F-ed me up.

Well played by both.  RNG is a huge part of this game, and I find it best after I lose to keep quiet for several hours, particularly when it was one I felt I had a deck advantage with and lost due to RNG.
