Which weapon, which weapon, oh....which weapon (For my rainbow deck)

a little late, but i'm suprised not one person has suggested taking eternity.

pretty much every FG farming rainbow deck past the update has to use eternity. the strategy for all decks now large or small, is to burn through the entire deck with hourglasses as fast as you can, and then stay alive via eternity by rewinding one of your own creatures every turn so you don't deck out.

nothing against pulvy, in fact i run eternity+2 pulvys in my FG framing deck right now. it's just, eternity is a necessity.

Actually, I have to disagree. Although a 30-35 card deck will almost definitely need an Eternity if only for reassurance, anything larger most likely doesn't need an Eternity. I've played games with my 40 card deck where i used tons of Hourglasses and even intentionally dragged out games in order to see if I can rack up the most damage possible against Miracle, and have never used my Eternity. It's useful, I just don't think it would be used as much.

i run a 50 card rainbow and use eternity in about 50% of my games (<--pulled that statistic out of my ass, but it's in the ball park). in many scenarios, i find i have to draw down to one of the last few cards because one of my kill cards is at the bottom i.e. queen or elf.

of the three decks with a decent win % that are commonly being used right now, puppy's, ivalmian's, and scaredgirl's, they all run eternity, and only puppy runs one pulvy.

you made the wrong decsion, heres how i look at it,

pulverizer morning glory discord and owl's eye are the most common and easiest to win weapons of all times, so relatively easy to roll. druid staff and vampire is just crappy and common, farenheit and eternity can be won from top 50s relatively easy, i dont know about other ppl but i personally won 2 lobotomizer/electrocutor from just lvl 5s, lvl 5s also carry posidens/trident common enough. so inconclusion, you should choose either arsenic or titan, cuz you will never will against scorpio with rainbow and you have low success rate against graviton.

I think I adree with icybraker as well. By the time I really need to use eternity, I would probably get myself an eternity. Eternity can be useful, yes, but Pulverizer has helped me even fighting level 3's. I also plan to create a 42-card-ish deck, so by the time I need Eternity, I'd propbably draw my Reverse Time as well, which I believe ischeaper.



@Glip: While it is a good idea to think long term, Pulverizer will actually help me beat the FG's I need for arsenic and titan. And since I don't need those in the first place, why do I even care about not having them?

I just got Eternity from the Oracle. So there. ^__^ I'll put both Pulvy and Eternity in my deck to test them out. Happy?

Arsenic is probably a waste, but if possible try get Pulverizer AND eternity, both of them are very useful in a rainbow FG deck.

Pulverizer first, then eternity. Arsenic doesn't really help a rainbow.

i never knew oracle gave out weapons, ah well. I manage to win 3 pulverizers and an eternity from top 50s in two days, and trust me, even when you have fully upgraded textbook style rainbows, you are still going to want to close the browser everytime you see scorpio or graviton

uh no not really, i can kill scorpio about 60-70% of the time, graviton iss more like 30% though.
