PvP Reward?

I have played quite a few friendly PvP in the past couple of week, and only came to realized today that there is no reward even when it says there is. I beat my friend earlier and it said I won 80 coins, and got talking to him about and we matched again, and I beat him again (four battles, and wins later) I checked my coins, low and behold I had won nothing! I was puzzled at first, and then I thought to myself, it would be a bit silly to put rewards on friendly PvP as people could log into multiple accounts and win every time, and just farm money quicker than most. Just wondering why it says you win coins in friendly PvP, that's all. Thanks.

If you look to the right from the "PVP Duel" button, it says "Challenge a friend. (no rewards)

I only played around 5 or so matches, and haven't really looked at the end, but it clearly says that you'll get no reward, so there shouldn't be a mix up.

It would be nice if you could win upgraded cards against people who use upgraded cards.

My deck isn't built for False Gods.  I tried grinding them for a day and won a couple spins, but it's incredibly boring to me.

It would only be nice in the sense that people would completely abuse that. Upgraded cards are not, and should not, be easy to come by, which is why they cost as much as they do, and are only winnable from the toughest of AI

You're probably right.

Personally, I think they should be done away with altogether.  It hurts the game more than it helps.

If upgraded cards could be won in pvp duels, it would get very abused. Two guys meet, make a deal and one of them makes a a killer deck against the other dude. It would suck. However, I can tell one thing: it seems too hard to win a card. I just had like 20 battles and didn't get a single card. Not to mention the gods, who take a while to beat, and if afterwards you aren't rewarded an upgraded card just becaue you're a born loser, you kind of get pissed off.
