do nymphs cost less to upgrade because for auburn nymph it says 908 unupped and only1608 upped...this may just be me being stupid however.

That's a good question, not a stupid one. :)

All cards, including nymphs, cost 1500 to upgrade. However, upgraded nymphs only sell for 700ish more than unupped, so you lose more value in money by upgrading a nymph than you do with another card.

All the values in the spreadsheet are sale prices, by the way. So in other words your net worth is the same amount of electrum as you would have if you sold all of your cards to the bazaar.

I prepared the spreadsheet for myself, really, but decided to share it. The next version I'm preparing is actually for the community so I encourage people to let me know what features they would like added.
