D&D references? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=9366.msg110767#msg110767

Has anyone noticed that Elements contains some Dungeons and Dragons references? Here, I'll list some:

Otyugh: A tentacled D&D monster that lives in the sewer.

Stoneskin: A D&D spell that blocks ten points of damage.

Mind Flayer: Another D&D monster.

Ulitharid: An improved version of the mind flayer in D&D

I probably didn't name all of them, but am I correct? Did Zanz just get D&D names and incorporate into elements?

I searched for Otyugh on Wikipedia, and that's what I found. It seems like he might have.

True, there seems to be a large referrence to D&D, but I don't see anything wrong with it, short of potential copyright issues. (which I doubt will ever come up unless WotC is ever really strapped for cash)

And where did D&D get them from?

Another interesting fact: A Morning Star is in fact a mace-like weapon, not a sword.

I have to reply to this; The combination of the words, Morning, and Star, don't necessarily mean that it's the weapon morning star.
It might mean that it's like a star in the morning sky.
