There's been a lull in Guilds for a little bit.

Tea Time with Giants: A Mystery!
Below is a portion of the interview:

Q:Penguins or Ostriches?
A: Ostriches, because.... well, they’re ostriches.

Q: What’s your favorite element?
A: At first I’d say Time. It was my first element to have fully upped, and I love mostly all the cards. As I finally started to gain electrum again, I was upping Air cards. I think the upped air towers are sooooo good-looking. So I just started to up all the air cards for their good looks. So now, I’d have to say Gravy because I’m almost finished with upping all of those cards and they look pretty good too. So, Time > Air > Gravy > Next thing I am going to up.

Q:What's your deepest secret?

Deck Idea of the Month
Integral Pain by Calindu

This deck review was written by Deck Helpers, Calindu and inthisroom.

As the new patch 1.322 came, so did the new shards, people started to see the power of the new Shard of Bravery, easy to splash, versatile(can deck out your opponent if played right). As time went, a lot of immorushes using some Bravery were posted on the forum, but there was none that could fully use that power, there's where Integrity helps, you take your leftover Bravery to create a new, big creature.

How to play it:
  • Play Gemfinder and immolate it
  • Play Destroyers and Minor Phoenixes
  • If opponent has over 2 or more cards free in hand, use Shard of Bravery, if not, play Shard of Integrity
  • Continue like that, probably it won't take more than 4 turns.

Weaknesses:
  • Early Hard(damage based) CC, before your golems can grow
  • Soft CC, that includes RT, BB, Freeze, AM and all that stuff.
  • Shields and sundials: this problem can be easily solved with some PC, but that will just slow down the deck

Card Selection:
  • 6 Gnome Gemfinders: Your usual Immorush fodder, produces earth for abilities too.
  • 4 SoI: Main inovation of the deck, uses leftover SoBras to create more damage.
  • 6 Cremations: Fire quanta producer.
  • 6 Lava Destroyers: Main source of damage, starts at 7 damage and grows too.
  • 2 Minor Phoenix: Filler cards, not much damage but helps a lot with consistency as it goes great with Cremations.
  • 6 SoBra: Speeds up the deck a lot, and if there are too many, you can always use them to make a golem.

The deck's speed was tested against Ai1 in 100 games, netting an average turn to win of 4,67, according to Turns to Win (1.32), and it's the second fastest deck tested.

Card Idea of the Month
Whim | Whim by Hyroen

This card review was written by the Idea Guru Drake_XIV.

Time to put veteran card designer Hyroen back into the spotlight, who presents an alternative way of getting the cards you need from your deck aside from the excessive draw acceleration we have become familiar with.

Whim is an :air creature that gives the controller the chance to change the fate of their hand.  But as the name entails, it makes decisions on a passing fancy.  The skill, Fickle, cannot choose what card will be used to replace the card in your hand.

But neither can it choose what card to replace.  A bit troublesome with some strategies that require precise combos, but in their case, Whim might help a lot more than it hinders them.  That is assuming that you have the quanta to play a card but just lacking the card to set up the combo.

Aside from the skill, Whim is a tad normal creature.  Especially in :air.  But despite it's subpar stats and relative inefficiency, it makes up for it with Fickle, which is explained above.

Duo Possibilities

[ :air | :entropy ] - The real primary use for this isn't really in Duos, but in Rainbows.  With the use of Whim, players can use it to pull out the Novas they need to start dumping their hand. And Supernovas in the case of upgraded decks.  Aside from that, it could prove useful in Pseudo-OTK decks, allowing you to push back the combo if you draw the cards too early, which would possibly be fueled with Supernova.

[ :air | :fire ] - Aside from thinning out your deck when used with Shard of Bravery, it helps cut through to pull out the Immolation you need or, better yet, the fodder for the Immolation you drew.  This is probably the best as it isn't a strict combo and it doesn't hurt what you draw if you couldn't play the others.

[ :air | :time ] - Need to thin out your deck even more for the right card?  With the use in conjunction with the excessive drawing of Precognition, Golden Hourglass, Sundial, and Golden Nymph, it really makes it easier to thin out your deck to get a combo running.

And why is that?

Well you figure with time and light you have Hourglasses and Sundials which have hasten letting you draw multiple cards so why not add one th Aether and all the other decks to keep mono decks and draw cards if youre down to one but want to need to hold off for say OTK decks?

Well, that doesn't make much sense. It makes sense that :time has those cards because it's TIME. It's supposed to be speed up (Precognition) and slow down (Reverse Time), but there's nothing about :aether that would imply either "Whim" or "Fickle" or the ability itself.

Whim (n.)
A sudden desire or change of mind, esp. one that is unusual or unexplained.

Fickle (adj.)
Changing frequently, esp. as regards one's loyalties, interests, or affection.

Both of those seem much more :air to me than they do :aether , as :air is always changing and moving.

Great idea that whim card however should be Aether  :P

That makes senses aha im half asleep idk what im talkin bout
