Eldinis doesn't have permanent control, and...4? quintessences. Not quite the same. I was talking about version 2, which has 12 quints and 4 aether nymphs. You're right that Divine Glory has limited damage potential, yet it's still extremely difficult for most decks. Imagine that immortality and permanent control, then add growing damage and a bit of creature control. Yeah....

A fire buckler would hurt more than help, since most decks don't have steal anyway.

Honestly, to me it seems about as hard as Divine Glory or maybe Hermes (maybe), definitely as hard as Rainbow, which is supposed to be the "limit" on FG difficulty.

Yeah that's about right, maybe a bit harder than Divine Glory due to higher damage, but then Divine Glory isn't the hardest FG.

The thing is, no one wants to have another FG as hard as Rainbow, who most people wouldn't want to fight even if they could win. The chance is just too low to be worth the time, and you rarely win any card spins on him anyway. Vesta has a better chance of giving a card, but if the win rate is as low as Rainbow's, it may still be an auto-quit.
