Got an early Warden who stalled his biggest wyrm non stop.
The wyrm that wasn't stalled didn;t mannage to break through hax shield more then once.
Arsenic, Lycan and Shrieker finished him off.

Match 2: LOSS

I expected a Tsunami-like deck and got one. Had  BB's, AM's and 4 Pends in my first 10 cards. I was able to stall very well until Dwerg got a squid and started to Freeze his own Am'ed creatures. That obviously sealed my fate!
Match 3: WIN (by law!)

I fooled around a little untill my lights got knocked out. Dwerg then told me that his deck was illegal. Next time tell me that before you kill me please!

I played the same deck again, thinking he'd never expect that! He then somewhat mirrordecked me with a  better draw, quick Trident and upped cards. I obviously RAGE-quitted!

Wishing I had used this rush last game (not tower/pend dependant) I decided to go for it now. I was afraid it was a bit to obvious to go back to my only successfull deck so far but didn't have that many promising options.
I turned out be be quite a long match. His BH heal and drain stalled for a good bit but I had an excellent draw with 1 Nova, 2 Immo's a Golem, Forest Spirit and Lycan. His discord scrambled, his BH's drained and his HP slowly wittled. 3-2

Great matches and great opponent. Real sportsman for admitting he used an invalid deck. Pleasure to have these matches with you Dwerg!

Just to clarify, do I actually need to send the PM for Escape? Don't want to be knocked out of the event in R1 due to misunderstanding.
Escape must be declared in this thread. The only required PMs are the ones from Crime Lords.

[ :fire Barbarian :life] Scauduro221095 3 - 2 Bhlewos [ :light Sacred Order :darkness]

Game #1: LOSS
Used this Sanc Firestall:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f7 5f7 5f8 5f8 5f8 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 8pq

He played a rainbow with QPs, Novas, and a Life Mark. I won the coin toss but it didn't matter -- he Deflag'd my Fahrenheits (the one that got through was stopped by his Fog Shield) and quickly outdamaged me with Giant Frogs, a Lycan, a Shrieker, and his Arsenic. It wasn't helped by my not drawing any Sancs for healing. My RoFs slowed him down but the use also hurt me, taking away my precious :fire quanta so I couldn't Bolt him.

Game #2: LOSS
Used the Flying Morning Glories:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5lh 5lh 5lh 5lh 5lh 5lh 5li 5li 5li 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 8pq

After a scary moment where I accidently used Air Mark, I panicked and backed out. Thankfully scauduro was generous and didn't treat this as a forfeit. Didn't matter much, since his early discord screwed my quanta generation (just when I had enough for an MG and Wings too). From there on out his denial (Discord + EQs) kept me discarding for a while, though he only had Gnome Riders which gave me enough time to get one flown MG out. It didn't matter since he eventually got his Graboids out.
Scauduro used an interesting deck -- no Pillars, only Gnomes and Novas. Entropy mark helped fuel his Discord.

Game #3: WIN
Thinking of a possible counter for his Pillarless deck, I tried using a SancGrabbow:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 590 590 596 596 5f6 5f6 5lf 5lf 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 8pq

Thankfully he used the same Pillarless deck, though there were a few scary turns there where I couldn't get up to 4 :light quanta. I was eventually able to Deflag his Discord and play my Sanc, and from there on out it was pretty smooth sailing. A Blessed Warden took care of the two Shriekers he got out, and I was able to outdamage him.

Game #4: WIN
Went with a StoneSkinMiracle stall:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58s 58s 592 592 594 594 594 594 594 596 596 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lf 5lf 5lf 5li 5li 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 8pq

He went with what looked like the rainbow he used in our first game. Just as in our first game he spammed several creatures very quickly but I was lucky to have an EA in my opening draw. I played a protected Tit Shield and a Warden, and from then on it was just a matter of guarding and killing his creatures with my Blessed Warden. He got out a Forest Spirit though, which I had no way of killing and which grew to about 17|17 by the time I got to the other creatures. By then I was about two turns away from dying but to play it safe I played a Stone Skin then a Miracle. His Lightnings scared me but luckily one of them was used to kill my second Warden and the second wasn't enough to take away my first's six HP. I won comfortably by deckout.

Game #5: LOSS
Used my deck from Game #3.
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

Unfortunately scaud went with a fire/entropy duo. Second turn Discord stopped my combo cold, always perfectly denying me that light quanta that I needed. I had two Sancs that I couldn't get out throughout the whole game, and my Warden only delayed my death a bit. I managed to Deflag his Discord and get out a Shrieker by the end but it was too late.

Game 3: Win. I had a first turn Phoenix and 2 Photons and started damaging him. I played another Phoenix, and then majofa unloaded an army of Minor Vampires. I was struggling to deal damage as his Vampire army grew. I drew another Phoenix, a Fog Shield, and a Vampire stiletto to catch up, and finished with no turns to spare.

I was able to get out my creatures fairly quickly and destroy his first farenhiet. When he got his second farenheit i had a fog shield up to stop damage, i took the win easily.

Nice little deck that delayed his quanta well, i was able to stop him getting out all but 1 MG.

I tried tricking him into thinking that i was going to play a different deck than last round....it worked but he also played a good counter. Nice deck Bhewlos.

I tried to go back to my original deck but his early PA'ed shield stopped me before i could do enough damage to win.

I went with a deck that could deny his quanta while also being able to take some hits from possible wardens, im glad to say that it worked. Good Games Bhewlos, im sorry to knock you out so early on.

You might want to stop slaughtering the court or the twelve will win this event?
