Noobie Here NEED HELP

So I started a few days ago and am having trouble beating FG with current deck. I read a lot of different threads and look at many deck options but many are outdated and I'm not sure about what to do.

Currently I'm just trying to save up money for an upgrade by grinding t3ai with this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12102.0.html (with a forest spirit instead of arsenic)

I have a rainbow deck but my result with FG are terrible. I have only won once out of god knows how many times and i didnt get a card out of it (go figure). Since the chance to win a card is so low and winning even once is completely lucky I gave up on it unless i figure out a way to raise my chances.

The difference is i added a lycanthrope, lava golem, and an extra steal. Also the only upgraded card i have is one Elite Otyugh.

getting tired of fighting ai3. top50 isnt worth the time and the win % for cards is so terrible that theres no point to keep trying FG if i only win 1/50 battles... i can upgrade faster just by grinding but that takes too much time.
I must say this game isnt very noob friendly because of how the difficulty rises with respect to reward. Its fun up to a point at which all you can do is the same thing for who knows how many hours without really advancing your deck or ability.

Hopefully One of you can help me figure out a way to improve my chances. Like how can i change my rainbow deck to make it more effective, what to upgrade next etc...

Actually, Top 50 is worth your time. Just use a rush deck (like your No Land Stompy deck) and you'll win most of the time. Plus, some of the T50 host rare card farms (which you can sell for more cash). Just stick to grinding T50 for a while so you can upgrade enough cards for a FG killer.

also thx it is better progress. before i guess i was just getting unlucky going against really hard decks and getting bad draws. those ice decks and the ones with those frogs and stuff destroy me

Umm... based on the answers I got from my thread earlier, upping your Immolations should be your priority.

Redmafia, I must agree with Pwnator:
T50 is most definitely worth your time and not just in terms of rare cards, electrum too.

Here is a deck I would still suggest for T50 pawnage:

(If you get the feeling you are not meeting ~50% rainbow decks in T50 but only those stupid frogs,
Hope-decks and so on ... trade in the blackholes for a couple unstoppables, poison, flesh-spider, deflagration, blue crawler, pegasus, another graboid ... just fiddle around with it a bit.)

As you can see, you will need 6 upgraded supernovas for any deck like this and some Quantum Towers
help a lot too, which answers your question which cards to upgrade first.

Now the uncontested FG deck right now is this, I would say:

(raw build; trade towers and fractals for shards of gratitude to increase savety/decrease speed)

However, there isn't that much else you can do with those tons of upgraded cards until your
collection is more respectable.
This goes pretty much for any specialty card at first, so whatever you do:

Do not upgrade any special cards like Immolation, Photon, Fractal, Basilik Blood, critters in large numbers... !


Going for supernovas and QTs first will open a world of opportunities against FGs, T50 and PvP.

For example, you can start building a FG-deck like these two classics:

Which will then lead over fluently to highly promising new FG approaches like:

Which each deck you are building, there will be less cards you need to upgrade to make it
and with your supernovas and quantum towers you will always have the basics ready. 
Also, whenever you DO win an upped card from the FGs there is a good chance that it will
fit nicely into your rainbow-deck ... few cards from each element are just what speed-rainbow is about.

does it make sense to try and go for ai5 with my rainbow deck? i just played 5 games against ai5 and won 4, so its feasible but takes long. am i able to win upgraded cards? or should i stick to top50. I dont have a very good % against top 50 with No Land Stompy i keep getting matched up against the ppl who beat me for some reason. although i do go on winning streaks

edit: top50 seems to purposely match me against people i lose to... ive been matched up against the same 4-5 people nonstop

Yes, you can win cards from AI5, but not very many. I think that 15% of the cards you win will be upgraded. It is one way to go, but it might not be the best.

I assume the amethyst, wind, and obsidian pillars are for nymph's tears, since nothing uses their quanta? If so, you won't have enough quanta to use the nymphs' abilities. Doesn't really seem like a great deck... The fractal frog one is very effective though.


As for moving forward in the game..

RoL/Hope is probably your best bet for winning upgraded cards to sell. The RoLs are all you really need upgraded to get going, though your win rate might be a bit low. If there's a rainbow deck you find around the forums that only requires a few upgraded cards, that might be good too. The advantage is that many cards (supernovas, hourglasses, etc.) will be the same in any rainbow deck, so you don't have to upgrade a whole new set of cards each time.

Another option is to continue with T50, with your fire rush or with a speed rainbow you can build after upgrading the supernovas. Again, those and the quantum towers will be useful for other rainbow decks, as Jangoo said. As you win more electrum, you can move from T50 to FGs and get even more electrum.

I have a bunch of cards but I dont know which ones I should keep for future decks and which ones I should sell off for upgrading. Could you possibly tell me how I can improve my rainbow deck and which cards I should keep?

Based on what the loconate said I guess I should upgrade supernovas before quantum towers?
If someone could tell me exactly what I should do to my rainbow deck to make it more successful it would be awesome. One thing I noticed is that I get destroyed by ice and poison shields/weapons with skills.
As of now im going to add 1 steal to the deck.
