NOTES:
There seems to be, with the exception of Wings (and Sky Blitz, thanks Hyroen), no reason for a creature to be airborne or not, yet there are a few cards out there that cause creatures to gain or lose airborne.  (Side note: why would airborne creatures be affected by Flooding | Inundation?)  This is an attempt to modify that and make it mean something.

Art was pulled from Wiki, obviously; if you're interested in providing a better pic, let me know and I'll throw it in with full kudos to you.

Change notes:
Original Great Wall prevented all non-airborne damage, current reduces by 6.
Changed cost from 4 :earth to 5 :earth, previous version blocked all weapons for 4 | 6.
Changed cost again to 5 :earth | 8 :earth.

Information in Notes is incongruous with information on the Card Images. Also, Wall includes the upgraded background.

Fixed.

Oh, and by the way. Sky Blitz. ^_^

Fixed the unupped image...thanks for pointing that out.  I must confess to being blind though, what's different between notes and images?

i think this needs a turn limit for upped especially.
why not make the effects for unupped same as upped and make it last 3-4 turns? (a weaker phase shield due to airborne creatures)

If you mean the whole table thing, it is just a database thing, also in case the image goes missing.  Seems a little strong, as this would probably be more efficient than Titanium Shield | Diamond Shield.  Though if this gets implemented, someone ought to make a China FG just for kicks. ;)

I'm amenable to adjusting the prevention rate, maybe from 4 | all to 4 | 6 or 4 | 7.  I just wanted to see what people thought of all from grounded stuff first.

Edit: @Flayne:  Phase Shield blinking out fits Aether's theme, as you're talking about stuff that is more nebulous.  With Earth, however, things don't just fritter off...there has to be a reason for them to be swallowed up.

I think I'm just pushing for airborne to mean something more, is all...maybe in the long run have a couple creatures from most schools with the ability, or to affect creatures with or without flying.  (Flying Fish, maybe, for a Water creature; Wind Shear for a spell that attacks only flying creatures as a counter...that kind of thing.)

I think 3 unupped and 4 upped would be more reasonable.

Redgarding blocking weapon damage - see this card (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25430.0.html). I haven't submitted it yet because of the 2-card submission limit set by the curators.

You misunderstood me, A wall is something that just can't be penetrated by land creatures or weapons, however, even the greatest of walls have their limits and their cracks, eventually the wall be broken down by some method,
take bone wall as an example, it has some thin layers of bones but
A brick wall is only one "thick" layer, potentially, it is a similar level of protection.
This overshadows diamond shield because, you are suggesting a shield that can block 4 damage for 4  :earth, when Diamond Shield blocks 3 with 6 :earth cost, the only difference being one includes airborne and the other doesn't.

So, lets say:

DS =
:earth for 3 damage
+ 1 blocks land creatures/non-flying weapon
+ 1 blocks airborne creatures
+ 1 for constant (no turn limit)
= 6 :earth

GW = 4  :earth for 4 damage
+ 1 blocks land creatures/non-flying weapon
- 1 does not block airborne creatures
+ 1 for constant (no turn limit)
= 5  :earth

that formula is only for the scenario in which great wall is always in play. (no turn limit)

You could give the wall a flat amount of health like "Blocks 20 damage" sort of like bone wall but cumulative damage instead of individual attacks and you could give it some kinda of repair/growth.

Set HP shields were done by both Rutarete and me in two different forms: Soul Barrier (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25437.0.html) and Dented Shield (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25436.0.html), just noting.

I would suggest lowering the prevention rate to maybe 3 | 4 or 4 | 6, just a thought. Interesting combo with Spiders.

Changed damage reduction from non-airborne sources to 4 | 6 instead of 4 | all.
