That was almost the same argument they used. They were wondering why would i use gravity as the ability, so i asked what element did they suggest. fitbutyouknowit said "Hydraulic Spring". I liked the idea, but as most Hydraulic things are faster than non-hydraulic, i had to keep it at the upped only. :)

Any other suggestions / agreements with the two kongregate people? I'll wait for at least a majority of 3 people to say they like the hydraulic version the most before changing. ;)

Gravity is the source of momentum. It would be strange for a creature to gain permanent momentum without using  :gravity.

Instead change the unupped one to  :water but keep the upgraded one  :gravity.

You requested to know why people didn't vote for Spring.
I find Momentum on a stick to be less interesting than:
The two experimental non basic pillars (Obelisk and Amulet)
The Ambush creature (I found the mechanic interesting so I made it)
The Absorb Cost creature experiment
and that exhausts my 4 votes.
Echo (Replication of Spells) and Windmill (An Air special quanta generator) are also interesting.
So currently Spring is the 7th card with 4 votes.

So, it isn't really that the idea is bad, it's just not new enough, and there are more interesting cards out there too.

Maybe now with the passing of Echo, i will recieve some more votes.

I also wish they will update the card, considering the new version really does seem better (for me, at least).
