Wings already has a perfect partner: Flesh/Phase Spiders. Ever tried a Death/Air deck? Momentum and PC are of course still valid answers. Also, Tempest Faerie may be renewable PC, but we already have that in Pulverizer/Butterfly Effect/Steal-Destroy mutants, so that doesn't cause this to be OP. Pulvy and its kin can't target protected permanents, but this can't target anything but shields. Maybe you got my Fire Buckler, but you didn't get my Fahrenheit. Or my Sanctuaries.
I like it, though I agree it is a little bit of a take-off on Vanadium Warden... which is OK. If this were implemented, I could see the Warden perhaps relegated to damaging only grounded creatures (it could still delay fliers).
