IDEA: Bloodshadow NOTES: This spell reduces your opponent's current max HP. For example, using Cauterize twice on a FG would result in him having a max HP of 128. This card will only reduce max HP. Really, what's stopping people from posting on this thread? Nobody even posted that it's OP! And this is a card with images. Is the card that uninteresting?

It's not overpowered, it's weak as hell. Pun intended with the picture.

You can get better, consistent results by Cremating something and then using one Nova to summon two Lava Destroyers.

All in all, as a spell, this is very, very weak.

As a permanent that constantly burns your opponent's HP by taking of a few percentages? Now, that has potential. Don't know how the programming would go with that.

It definitely is, especially when you draw it late game. Also in addition to my earlier example, I think Unstable Gases may defeat the need for this card. There are simply better choices unless it was maybe used primarily on FGs or a shard spammer.

Maybe lowering the cost will do for now.

This card does damage that usually cannot be healed back. To me that is very powerful.

I'll lower the cost to 12/13 for now and see what people say.

What I'm curious about is this: opponent has 100 max HP, and 50 current HP. You use upgraded version on him, reducing his max HP to 75. What happens to his current HP? Is it reduced to 25, to 38 or is it unchanged?

really the spell ony has 2 uses.

against FGs or against decks with mass healing (like 6 shards, 6 feral bonds) i think its too limiting.

Should this only affect max HP, or max and current HP together? Should current HP be reduced by the same number or same percentage?

this card losses power as you widdle your enemy down, its most effective turn one, -25 upgraded and least effective late game 10 hp- 7.5 hp.

Fire Stall and Unstable Gas decks do exist, you know. They have a party with this card.
