not really after all it goes in your opponents weapons slot and they have to destroy it. After all if you put it there why would you steal it back or destroy it? but i agree has to be made to fill only empty slots.

I still say cost 3. Yes, they can't play a weapon, but at least you're giving them a free 1-2 damage. Unless, of course, you're using a shield, but 3 is enough.

Either way a turn one nova locks their weapon slot up for the game but 3 makes it more usable by mono decks. I guess it might work.

...unless they have a Deflag or Fallen Druid (creatures with destroy).

Yeah, there are ways round it but not that many and many decks won't have them.
