If you guys want to do that, that's okay, too. We currently aren't going to be as active as we'd originally hoped, so we thought we could extend an invitation to a few more members.

Plus, we'll be closer to living up to our name.

Just as an important reminder to everyone who is participating in the competition - ALL members of a team must edit THEIR POSTS to include all updates to any team changes, additions, and removals of team members. This means:

-If a person on your team doesn't post accordingly to the specifications on the first post, the team will not be created.
-If you fail to edit your own post regarding the addition of a new teammate, they won't be included.
-If you fail to edit your own post regarding the removal of a teammate, they will still be included, and thus be tasked to participate in the Blitz stage.

Please post any other questions in this topic if you have issues finding a team and whatnot.

Couple questions, Kuro:

- Are you providing the art for the cards, or will we need to find it ourselves (and of course follow established rules for proper citation, etc.)?
- Will the card requirements be somewhat comparable to those seen in the recent card design competition? (varying in difficulty/point value, of course)

On SOME of the requirements, yes; I'll be giving you some generic artwork (or a few royalty-free pictures that are merged/modified by me, which is turning out to be extremely difficult >_<) for some sets of requirements.

Other sets of requirements will just state that the mechanics/cost/element/whatever needs to be done in a certain way, so you'll have to find art for those instead. For the proper citation part, for this competition ONLY, you won't need to cite the artist name UNLESS you plan on using the card either for the voting stage OR for a Crucible candidate.

Fairly comparable, yes. However, I might throw a few curve balls here and there to see how creative you guys can be when it comes down to 'work-around' restrictions... If you don't get what I'm saying, know this; you better make sure your teammates are reliable when it comes to input/designing, or else you won't fare very well during the Blitz stage.

Thanks, Kuro. One more question... your Blitz system is set up to prevent any one person from spamming it, but is there really any way to prevent any one team from spamming? It seems like all anyone would really have to do to win Blitz is be available when Blitz opens, find teammates who can get online at the same time, and ping-pong cards back and forth until the list is empty. (Unless you've got, like, 500 card restriction ideas... and you might )

I figured out why my competition has (in a way) failed - I forgot to reserve a second post underneath the OP so that I could basically set up a 'Blitz table' for all the sets of requirements on...

That said, I do plan on making around 100+ sets of requirements, and some of them being incredibly difficult to make (based on the mechanics, art, etc.). I'll be giving a special announcement when the 'Blitzing' begins, so that no team is left with all the poor card mechanics. ^^;
