Spoiler for 1 - Name That Shard!: Name that Shard! Original idea by Rutarete | Developed by ??? | Organized by ??? A Fun Combination of Quizzical Questions and PvP!1. How to sign upAnyone with a forum and chat account may sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is currently not active, and you will have to wait for it to restart. When posting on the sign up thread, post one of the twelve shards as well. This will be the only shard you can use at the beginning. See below for more details on that. There is no maximum amount of people allowed to sign up for this event. 2. Getting ReadyThis will be a Double Elimination Event. Once you have lost twice, you are out. 3. GameplayEach round, there will be a question posted, with the answer being a shard. These questions will gradually get harder. There will not be any particular order for the shards as answers, and beware that questions may have multiple answers. There will be 11 rounds, one for each shard you didn't start out with. If not enough people are eliminated by the last round, additional rounds will be added. Example question 1 - Statement GuessThis shard could help you win a race Answer - Shard of Readiness Example Question 2 - Haiku/RiddleBroken I may be, I always repay my debt. What shard could I be? Answer - Shard of Gratitude Example Question 3 - QuestionWhat shards can share the same acronym? Answer - SoS: Shard of Serendipity, Shard of Sacrifice OR SoF: Shard of Freedom, Shard of Focus. For a question like this, you only need to answer one choice (only one of the two acronyms in this example). If you give multiple answers, on such a question that has multiple answers, you may choose only two shards at most to gain access to. There could also be trivia questions about the Shards of the Past. If the answer happens to be a shard you already have, nothing happens. There is no negative penalty for wrong or unnecessary answers (multiple answers when there is only one). You will PM your answer to the organizer each round. For each answer you get correct, you may use that shard in further deckbuilding and 5 upgrades of that Shard's respective element. You will know if you answered correctly by the Organizer's reply in a PM. The correct answer or answers of the previous round will be revealed after that round is done, in the next round's thread. 4. Deckbuilding and MatchesPlayers have three days to make the match happen. If necessary, PM the Organizer to request a substitute. Each round, you will fight one opponent. Decks may be any size, with any mark. Matches will be best of three, and opponents will be randomized. For each type of shard you have access to, you may use up to five upgrades of that shard's element. You must always have at least one type of shard in your deck. You may not switch decks or marks between matchesAs the rounds go on, you will be required to use at least two different shards, and three different ones later on in the event. If you cannot, (do not have the shards available) you must use as much as you can when this rule comes into effect. 5. After MatchesPlayers will post the deck they used in the Results thread, along with the score. 6. Winning the EventThe winner is the last person who has not been eliminated. 7. RewardsThe winner will be presented with this award icon: To be determined.

1. HOW TO SIGN UP? Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart. You must have at least 1 Shard to participate. Maximum amount of participants for this event is 32 (24?). If the event is full, you can still sign up as a reserve player, and will get a chance to join the event if any of the 32 (24?) players doesn't show up during round 1. 2. GETTING READY Build a deck of any size (from 30 to 60 cards), you must include at least 1 Shard. In round 1, you may only use 1 Shard. - You may use any non-upgraded cards in the game. - You may use Upgraded Shards. You may have a number of additional upgraded cards equal to the number of shards you may use that round. - The cards you choose to upgrade will stay upgraded during the whole event. You will not be able to change which cards are upgraded, nor can you downgrade them. - You may not use upgraded Pillars or Pendulums. - You cannot change your deck between rounds, other than to add new shards, or to upgrade a card already in use. 3. BRACKETS This event uses a Ranked Round Robin. Each Player plays each player once. Players get 1 Point per win. The half of the players with the least number of points are eliminated. Then a new round begins. 4. DUELS Players have 4 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final. Duels are single matches. You may only change your deck between rounds. You may only add a shard and upgrade a card. It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair. 5. AFTER DUELS Winner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks and their sideboards. After round 1, all remaining Players may add 1 Shard, upgraded or standard, and 1 additional upgraded card. In general, you may have a number of upgraded cards, and a number of shards equal to the current Round Number. You may not change your deck, other than to add a shard, and upgrade a card you are already using. 6. WINNER After the final Round, which will consist of two players, all points are tallied. If the winner of the last match has the most points as well, he wins, otherwise, he must fight the player with the most points and the winner of that match is the winner of the tournament. 7. REWARDS The winner of the event will receive the following forum award icon at the discretion of the forum PvPOs.

Spoiler for 4 - Shards of Your Soul!: Shards of Your Soul! Original idea by russianspy1234? Collect Shards on your way to power.1. How to sign upAnyone with a forum and chat account may sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is currently not active, and you will have to wait for it to restart. When posting on the sign up thread, post your top 3 favorite shards in order. Preference will be given to the first choice of those that signed up first. The event is limited to 33 participants, 3 for each shard except . 2. Getting ReadyBuild an unupped deck of any size, with the following restrictions: You must use 4 copies of your given shard. You cannot use shards except for your element's shard. 3. GameplayThere are no brackets for this tournament, you are responsible for finding and challenging your opponent. If a player does not participate in a duel for 3 days, their shards are seized and they are disqualified. Games are best 2 out of 3 4. After DuelsThe loser must forfeit a shard of their element to the winner, and can no longer use it in their deck (eg if this was your first duel and you lost, your deck would now only contain 3 shards.) You do not actually give away your card, you just can't use it in your deck for the rest of the tournament. You may add shards you win to your deck. Yes, this does mean that if you win a shard of your element from another player it gives you an extra "life" If you lose all shards of your element, you are out of the tournament. Post results in the results topic. 5. FinalsAt some point, there will be only 2 players left. At this stage, each player is given 3 shards, and any seized shards from disqualified players are divided up evenly and randomly. The two finalists have a series of single (not 2/3) duels, with the shards now representing their lives. This means that their decks must now contain 3 earth shards and they are no longer required to use their original chosen shard. They continue to duel until one player holds all 6 shards, at which point they are crowned the winner. 6. PrizesThe winner will receive an award icon representing their chosen shard (or if they want)
Spoiler for 5 - Legend of the Grand Shard Golem: Legend of the Grand Shard GolemOriginal idea by: majofa | Developed by: majofa | Organized by: majofaIt is said that the Grand Shard Golem sleeps in the tower in the center of The Land of Elements. Legends declare that whoever awoke the Golem would be granted unlimited power to rules the world... Collect Shards and be the first summon the Grand Shard Golem and rule the world!!! 1. HOW TO SIGN UP?Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic with your chosen starting point. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart. There is no maximum amount of participants in this event. 2. GETTING READYWhen you sign up, PM the organizer with the point on the board you wish to start (must be on the border). 3. GAME PLAYEvery 2 days you get 2 actions. These can be any of the following: - Move vertically - Move horizontally - Search a square - Harvest a Shard - Attack another player - Use a Shard You can move twice, move and search, move and harvest, search and harvest, or any other combination you can think of (You can't attack twice). If you search a square, it may uncover a Shard Vein with a random type and amount. Each element has several places on the board where you can find them and they may or may not be bunched up. After a Shard Vein has been found, you can use an action to harvest a corresponding Shard. You may only have one type of each Shard in your inventory/base. When you find your 2nd Shard, you are automatically warped back to your base. When you attack a player they have two options: 1) Allow you to take one Shard of your choice from them. 2) Defend against you. - If the attacker wins, they can take up to 2 Shards from the losing player. - If the defending player wins, they can take 1 Shard from the losing player. (Regardless of who wins, the losing player 'dies' and will resume at either their base or one of the corners. Shards not taken by the player that killed them remain in their inventory.) At any time you may return to your base and drop off any Shards you are carrying. They will be safe there and cannot be stolen. Each Shard gives a small bonus if it's in your inventory/base: (2 Action Points) (One time use) Allows you to warp back to your base one time. Allows you to move 3 spaces for 2 actions. Allows you to take an additional Shard from your opponent. If you kill your opponent, they remain dead for their next 2 actions. (1 Action Point) Allows you to randomly swap a Shard with an adjacent opponent. (If you are battling, this happens before you battle). (2 Action Points) Sacrifice this shard to destroy a Shard Vein. (Once per turn) Allows you to move one space towards your base without using an Action Point. Gain 2 extra Action Points for the turn after you die. All squares 2 spaces around your base become visible only to you. You may make use 3 Action Points instead of 2 if they are all different. Shows near undiscovered Shard Veins that match those in your inventory. There is no Shard. When you have all 11 other Shards, you gain the power of the Earth Shard. 4. MATCHESMatches are best-of-5. - You can only use the Mark and Shards that correspond to the Shards your inventory. - You can only use cards that correspond to the Shards in your base. - The defender may use up to 4 upgraded cards. - No 'Other' cards. (That means you need to always have 1 in each. No one can be attacked unless they have at least 2 shards).
It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair. 5. AFTER DUELSAll players must submit their results and decks in the 'Battle Thread' thread. 6. WINNERThe winner is the first to reach the center of the map with 11 Shards and summon the Grand Shard Golem!! The winner is also automatically qualified for the PvP World Championships - 2013. 7. REWARDSGlory and the following forum award icon: ???
Spoiler for 6 - Shard Mayhem: Shard Mayhem - RulesOriginal idea by: ??#2 | Developed by: Shantu | Art by: - | Organized by: ?Rumours say elementals from all over the world are gathering for a contest... a contest to gain the power of Shards. But great power is a great burden and the weak shall fall. Can you defeat all odds and emerge victorious from this massacre? 1. HOW TO SIGN UP?First and foremost, read the rules. A signup topic will be opened when the event is ready to be run; keep an eye out for it and just simply post in it when it appears along with a favored element. When the event starts everyone will be assigned 2 shards from their element and 8 more randomized from the remaining elements. So in total everyone starts with 10. 2. DECKBUILDINGYou must collect shards from your opponents by defeating them. Every shard in your possession gives you a penalty however.- Each shard in your possession allows you to put one corresponding shard into your deck. They also allow you to upgrade 1 card from the corresponding element (can be the shard itself) - You do not have to use shards in your decks if you don't want to. - There are no deckbuilding limitations other than those caused by shards. Each shard in your possession (as in, owned by you. They do not have to be in your deck) give you a minor disadvantage during deckbuilding. If you don't have any, the effects obviously do not apply to you. 4. DUELSEach player is seeded against two other players. Each Round lasts for 4 days. Matches are best-of-five. The first player who wins 3 individual duels, wins the match. Changing your decks between matches is allowed as long as you use legal decks. It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair. 5. AFTER DUELSWinner should post in the "Battle Results" topic along with short description of how the match went. Both the winner and the loser are required to post pictures of both their decks. Winners gain one quarter of the losers' Shards, randomly selected, rounded up. If someone has less than 4 shards they drop from the event and the winner gains all shards they had. 6. WINNERYou win if no one else has any shards left or if you have the most shards by Round 8. 7. REWARDSThe winner of the event will receive a forum award icon of unspeakable beauty.
