So I was flicking through Aether and wondering what would the God of Aether do, Quint seemed a waste as it can have it by card or nymph so I went with first strike capability. I hope thats alright by you all.

I also wanted something to help along Sparks but didn't want it to be too helpful so only a +1|+1 to them as I though spamming +1|+2 sparks for no cost would over balance it.

So heres my take on Aethers God Indira

I love how aether got something more than just immortals, but I was hoping for PU on a stick.  This may seem crazy, but aether has a lot of immortals, so it might increase air/aether synergy.  Oh well, I suppose it's your card.

It is a great card, but I might make it only three damage.  =/

Yeah, 5 damage seems a bit massive. :P Very powerful creature, very nice ability; I especially like buffing the Sparks so they last longer than 1 turn. :P

Is it a creature or a permanent?

Personally, I quite like the idea of lightning/spark generation; although it has been suggested in the past quite a lot.

This is extremely powerful creature control. Lightning is the most powerful straight damage card in the game, and proverbially "putting it on a stick" is definitely really powerful...

I would rather return to the spark/lightning generation idea.

Ability: :aether :aether :aether Static Build-Up: A random enemy creature or player is struck by lightning or a Spark is created.

Maybe then make the upgraded version spawn Ball Lightnings.

Then, maybe create a new card which works like Eclipse but only for Sparks and Ball Lightnings - this will cause a player to use two cards, but will give the Aether God a very dangerous creature-spam ability: 3-1 Sparks and 6-1 Ball Lightnings? Although, it will be balanced by the fact that the Spark does not trigger on every cast, instead, it could be say 50/50 or even 60/40 in favor of Lightning.

Nice idea though :). I was worried for a minute you would have gone the road of Parallel Universe on a stick :)

Hmm awesome feedback thankyou for that.

I like the idea of random generation of Sparks or damage to the other player (I read the post and thought oh a cool idea 3 way element match then thought against it..lol).

I am currently compiling all suggestions and when I have finished the series (Gravity,Air and Entropy still to come) I will post the new updated cards with everyones feedback in them.

I agree that 5 damage may be a bit too much, and am quite ready to lower that threshold as the other option to 3.
