Crazed Architect 8 :entropy creature

2 :entropy : Reconstruct: turn target (non-pillar, non-weapon, non-shield) permanent into another permanent of its element ( :rainbow permanents turn into random perm of any element)

Relic 1 :rainbow permanent
(relic now comes in play as a perm with no ability)

Tectonic Fold 3 :earth spell
Add 2 pillars/pends to the target stack

Phantom Clay 3 :aether permanent
2 :water : Morph: Turn into the target permanent

Deactivate 2 :darkness spell
Sacrifice one of your permanents to gain 15hp and a random :darkness card in your hand

Deconstruct 3 :time spell
Rewind a target permanent

Quantum Mortar 5 :rainbow permanent
3 :rainbow : Launch: Deals 5 (or any other balanced number) damage to your opponent
(just here so that more perms for control)

Obelisk 4 :light permanent
2 light: Sacred Offer: Sacrifice a permanent to deal spell damage to your opponent. Perms of better quality deals more damage.

Energy Infusion 1 :life spell
Target permanent can use its skill once more per turn

Decay 3 :death spell
Target permanent turns into a boneyard or soul catcher after 2 turns

Pandora's Box 4 :entropy permanent
1 :light : Open: Choose a non-pillar permanent. All other permanents have their skills replaced by a new random skill (if there is a cost, it costs its own element). Destroy after use.

Just my 2 cents. Pillar/non-pillar doesn't matter, they are just very rough, unrefined concepts.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

Just some terms I made up to organize my Series thread.

"Members" means cards that are a part of the Series.
"Support" means cards that are not a part of the Series but work off mechanics only found in cards that are a part of the Series.


Can I post some ideas here? Just very simple ones that might inspire you fellow card makers, I know nothing about balancing.

Actually, I think it would be better if you actually created the cards (be warned, a few of those concepts have been done before or have been marked as taboo), since I would gladly add cards from other users to the Series list.

I don't really want this thread to be a place where people list every possible mechanic that can have the word "permanent" in it, though. Maybe I should make the Series more specific?

Actually, I think it would be better if you actually created the cards (be warned, a few of those concepts have been done before or have been marked as taboo), since I would gladly add cards from other users to the Series list.

Doesn't matter then. I'm by no means a serious card maker, so, bye! Hope to see interesting concepts for permanents, though.
