Comparing to Otyugh this is more limited but works better on a niche and requires a duo (on the other hand it is a medium hitter, with a good HP, even without using the ability). I think that making the buff be +2|+0 would fit better with fire's glass canon theme.

Zanz has (I believe) previously stated that he does not like insta-kill mechanics, but this is a very interesting idea regardless. And Leaf Dragon should definitely be included.

This kills depending on a condition (that is even very restricting in my opinion), so it is as insta-kill as Otyugh, Maxwell or Flooding.

Exactly, this cards skill is only usable versus dragons.

This is more of a hard counter directly to dragons than Maxwells is to any particular card...idk that's just my opinion. This card kind of reminds me of the Purify, BH and reflective shield cards in that they are very useful against one type of card/deck and not very useful at all against all others. I just can't picture a fire/darkness duo around this card where the user has to hope that the opponent uses dragons. Otherwise, 5 | 5 for 6 :fire seems quite weak.

I have several problems with this card.

First of all, Fire doesn't have any card with even a mediocre HP so far and that's not a coincidence, but supposed to be a part of Fire's character.

Second: This is too much of a cointoss for my taste. If the opponent plays a rush deck with 6 Dragons, this is a free win, otherwise, this is weak. (Mainly because of the forced duo)

Will you include Rustler?

Hmm Good question I'll put it in a poll.
From Twin-Headed Wyvern | Twin-Headed Wyvern :
This discussion was already had over in Dragon Power (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11526.msg165455#msg165455). I believe it was decided that Leaf Dragon, being an upgraded version of Rustler, is not a "true" dragon. One dragon per color, it seems. Of course a quick name change to "wyrm" or something similar could easily be effected.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to hard counter dragons - players seem to prefer lower-costed and more 'efficient' beatsticks like Seraph, Puffer Fish, and Ghost of the Past unless the extra damage is really necessary (or the deck's a Dragon OTK).

Why would :fire / :darkness be willing to slay Dragons?

Why would :fire / :darkness be willing to slay Dragons?

Fire - Represent the fiery beasts themselves.
Darkness- Killing something is evil (Dark deed)

Maybe I should change the stats to :fire 6|3 and :fire 7|4?
Change skills effect to: :darkness :darkness Slay - Deals 3 damage to target creature. If the creature is killed and is a dragon this card gain +2/+1. [(+3/+1) Upped]
