The Continuous Challenge: Gravity 23 September – 23 October

Well, the Gravity theme is certainly there. Libra theme is a bit of a stretch, but I came up with this concept without thought for this competition. I suppose the "balancing" concept could be that for every chunk of quanta that is spent, an amount of is gained.

I'm unconvinced that Hyroen's points have been fully answered.

The problem here is that we can put any Gravity card in here. So, why submit cards for this "Challenge" when we can just submit them into the Gravity Crucible? On the other hand, why should the average card idea maker, who gets around to making card ideas for Gravity, want to submit their card into the Gravity Crucible when they can gain reputation/prestige by submitting it for this "Challenge"?

Basically, why is this thread/challenge even on the forums at all? Why is this named a "Challenge" when making a card that fulfills the requirements isn't challenging at all?

Hence the Astrological theme (Currently Libra). I suggest you either make not including said theme give the card a vote penalty or add some other concepts.

Just add some more limitations to what is a "valid" submission for this challenge. Solutions to challenges are not meant to be voted on, they are meant to be hard-to-achieve.

I am thinking about taking this down and locking it. The next challenge will come after v1.29 is released and evaluated. We will try to find niches in the game that need to be filled. I want try to shift our current way of card design is done to one that thinks more about the Metagame.
