Er... No response from VRT. I guess I could try to remake the image, but I can't do it until the weekend because of school. If I do it, I'll probably enter it for the Spell Art contest.

Sounds great. Not sure if you want to enter art which is a reused idea though?

Is Tempus Fugit really the anti-fractal in disguise?

You see opponent building up :aether, maybe with a minor phoenix or pest out in play but has 5 slots in his hand.  Is he going to fractal next turn?  Not any more.....you toss a TF on him and he'll toss you an "F.U."

It's also an instant kill if your opponent has less cards in his deck than the empty slots in his hand.

Or maybe not... Perhaps it should simply draw until your opponent has 0 cards, but not kill him?

I strongly disagree, one thing I had in mind with this card was as an anti eternity strategy card. The game ends if you need to draw but cannot. So i feel it should be the same with this card.

One thing: if you target opponent, who has only 1-2 cards in the deck and  a largely empty hand, it will kill them, right?
This would be a fun card to play against eternity infinite decks, if so :)

Ah, and what if the pendulum in the art is a bit blurred?

Avenger - that's exactly what I had in mind when I made this card. a card to hugely hasten either player, and a counter for eternity decks :)

As for your art suggestion, based on overwhealming support for bloodshadows name and a general feeling that with his name his art would be better I am probably going to use the art he comes up with once he changes the clock face to display roman numerals.

But thanks for the input!

Nice card. An alternative to hourglass.

Overall, hourglass seems better for decks with high cost cards or mono-time, and this one looks better for decks that can empty their hand quick.

I'm a bit worried about it though because imagine this in a deck with only low cost non-time cards.

Like time-earth-fire for example....draw the 8 cards, play all the towers, explosions, earthquakes, fire bolts, minor phoenixes, shards, and maybe shriekers from them, and a few turns later, when you accumulated another 8 time quanta, do it again.

If used well, this can draw twice as many cards than a hourglass for the same amount of quanta.
Basically, it does the same as fractal....except your don't get 8 copies of a small creature in your hand, you get 8 cards from your deck...including control cards like explosion, steal, etc...and those cards can even produce quanta to pay for others, and your next draw spell. So it is a lot stronger than fractal. It also wins games against other time decks by forcing deck out. And this doesn't even count the fact that you'll most likely get another copy of this, which you can play again 2-3 turns later.

A deck with 6 of these, amethyst towers, a few time towers, 6 supernovas, 6 cremations, many low cost creatures and some control cards of all elements, like 2-3 card of each element...add a few ruby dragons or firestorms to spend all those fire quanta, and a time mark. This way you can basically draw through your entire deck in the first 8-10 turns AND play every single card from it, from steals, shards and growing creatures to quintessences and ever ruby dragons or mass creature-kill spells.

If this card does get added, I'll certainly play 6 copies.

This is definately the missing :time card :) totally sweet. And balanced.
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?
'cause I see colors flourishing like you'd never believe... like a pendulum swings, they swing with me!

Not all Advanced Spells are rare (Fractal isn't), but I think this card should be rare.

Quite versatile for a time card to be used either on you or your opponent, and I like the new coming of cards that absorb all your quantum but give you a good payout (Miracle, Fractal)
